Just to clarify, this is all done over internet/Chromecast, right? No HDMI?
When on your TV like this, is there a good way to control the footage (scrub through, etc)? Can you use a wireless mouse? Can you control it from your phone?

Thanks and great demo. Can you ask Google to show all cameras at once? and do you have to have Google Home speaker to activate the screen on Google Chrome Cast or can you bypass speaker and talk directly to Google app on your phone?

How is the lag or latency when streaming on chromcast? Is it pretty close to live, ex: 2sec?
Does this work with other google displays like the home hub?
Have you figured out how to keep it from going to a random chromecast device in the house? I have several devices so when I try this it just seems to pick a random TV with a chromecast... next thing you know my basement is showing the front porch and I am in my living room confused.
Will this work with an echo dot & firestick on the tv?

Grab their newest 4K system. It’s feature rich. It’s got 8mp.

Swann/Google changed their integration. The command for routines have changed. You have to use "Home Safe View" instead of "Swann Security". "Swann Security" will no longer work. Swann has not yet updated its documentation. I called them they said it is in the works.

Not with this here, but they have a smart doorbell and add on camera for their 4K systems. I’ll be doing a video on both.

Google home assistant doesn't work with Swann anymore , Customer Service haven't said what the issue is, been not working since September

For all this setup do i need the dvr to be connected via hdmi to the tv? Id my dvr ia connected via ethernet do i still need the hdmi to be connected to the tv?
No. Only if you want to see it on a monitor/tv via hdmi.
@@locoboof in planning to have it Setup as you showing in the video with chromecast plugged into tv with the Google mini. And ask google to show cameras.
I take it i only need the hdmi if i wana connect it to a separate monitor showing 24/7 live feed? And don't need oneid using goovle chromecast and home?

The Google home option is not available on the Android version of the app on my Samsung Note 8. Is this a know issue?

This no longer works. Swann have changed the way it connects. You now need the Swann Security app and a login on the Swann web site. I spoke at length to their support today and am in the process of setting my system up with the newer app.
I have a problem
It needs alexa support, for the other 80% of smart home users!
