Can you mix shadow black with a shift yellow. Either medium bright or bright for a wasp affect. And try shadow black main coverage. With secondary deep bright lava shift red. Flames.

Years later, but this has got to be one of my favorite ones you've done. You got the full color spectrum with the color shift, from red to yellow to green to blue to purple, without any one color or range of colors being too dominant at any given angle, but the effect also being somewhat subtle but still noticable.
This is a car color i can definitely live with. Grown-up mature, yet with an edge!
Ha, agree!!
Fr, it's got just enough of that undercolor off axis sheen without being overly tacky and overdone like you see with the ones imitating titanium oxide colours
Totally. It's not gaudy, but it has a bit of character.
Absolutely agree. I love it.

Probably my favorite result I've seen so far. Manages to have an amazing color shift while being subdued at the same time. Very sophisticated.
If he had told me it was mixed with just two colors I would have thought he was lying and used five colors! Still, gorgeous results. It would look great on a '19 Corvette or '94 Lotus Esprit.
Same! I've seen tons of his videos as well. He should try this technique on different colors.
That end result is wicked :D

Just as surprized as when I saw this one a good while back. The color shift is subtle but quick and close enough in shades that it makes you question your own perception. And it still acheives this with very little movement. Almost looked like it was flexing it's shades even when perfectly still. Very classy.
I do see that and I love it
I wonder if it would look the same if you did mix the colors beforehand. I really really like it. Usually colorshifts that cross more than an 8th of the color wheel are too intense for me. But itâs really very subtle. I sort of want it on my car now. It kind of reminds me of the rainbow effect in an oil slick on top of a puddle.

By the time you get a couple passes on the car, the different colors have been agitated in the cup enough to thoroughly mix. But that color is amazing and its perfect with those wheels!!

Hardly any ads either! Great channel.
You could use volunteer cars for all the spray tests, you wouldnât need to remove the old color and prep the car over and over again. Plus this would be free publicity as there would be some crazy colored cars running around.
Even if you require the cars to be prepped beforehand, Iâm sure there are a lot people that are interested.
I would prep my car for them if they would do that, and they could put their logo on there wherever they want
Most painters don't want someone else to prep. Anyone can spray. Prepping is what really makes a paint job.
@@vjsoeifi wellllll I agree prep job is important... Butttttttttt I rather let the new guy prep than spray. If you've had to redo the new guy paint job for a whole month because he sucks and always gets orange peel. You would feel the pain.

Of all the videos I've seen so far I think this is my favorite mix!

Neochrome paint
Looks nothing like case hardened steel. Color case hardening leaves the steel splotched, this is a pearl color shift that relies on perspective.

Because the spray gun atomizes the paint as it passes through, you won't really notice that the paint hasn't been mixed.
Maybe if you poured one colour in first, then the other in second - you may have a more noticeable outcome.

Rig two separate paint containers to flow into the gun at the same time.
Or just use two spray guns with two different colours at the same time
Or a baffle in the container that separates the paint except for a small hole at the pick-up point. That way when the paint sloshes from side to side, you get a stronger influence of one color over the other.

I have been painting for 40 years and this job turned out very subtle and much nicer than I thought it would. Sweet work.
People need to pay attention. They started with two *pearlescent* paints which means that the color change comes from that, not the fact that they mixed two paints.
The red under hue defiantly is from the other paint though. Not just an effect.
I mean the vigorous shaking from spraying mixed the colours anyway so it makes 0 difference. They literally just made Pearlescent paint...
Nathan Burton not if the two colors have different ratios
@@VyarkX I don't know how you came up with that statement but sure buddy, whatever you say.
Nathan Burton did you mean inside the cup or the nozzle of the paint sprayer?

Should try blocking the two paints from mixing even until poured in the sprayer tank, such as using a separating plastic sheet, and remove the sheet when about to close the tank
