Morning Rols & Suzie, love the decorations in the chateaux, it really looks so lovely and Festive. Such a beautiful time of the year. Love the fabric, and the colours will blend in beautifully. Love the carousel and snow bubble ornaments, they are hard to come by nowadays. That is what we are left of - good memories!! It is nice to reminisce, it brings back a fondness. Enjoy decorating.

You will choose the right one. When I did an interior design course the teacher said to choose your colour scheme from something you already have. At the time I chose my 3 colours from a wall carpet. When I saw you with the fabric as the starting point I thought she is doing it the right way round. A lot of people choose the paint colour and try to fit other colours around it. You have done your accent colour already from the fabric: the secondary colour would be the curtains so the wall colour could be a paler version of the background colour if the fabric.

No. 1 from best I can tell. Not too bright or garish but still bright. Christmas is the time for sweet memories. My tree is full of ornaments from family and friends and trips we have taken. Each one I put up prompts me to pray for those that are still with us and as for the ones who have passed, I thank God for their lives and how they blessed me and my family. I’m one to save my Christmas decorations as well Suzie and think of all the people that gave them to us. Great memories and some my girls even remember. I had to graduate to 3 Christmas trees. Now with grandchildren I can start filling them even more ❤ Beautiful decorations.

Love the red above the fireplace, looks wonderful with the decorations. Approximately about 30 years ago I painted our living room a Heritage red 2 days before Christmas. Everyone thought I was mad, but it looked lovely with all the decorations. All the colours you have short listed for the walls look great, number 6 looks nearest to the background colour of the curtains to me so it depends on whether you want a contrast to that.

I like the lightest shade for the walls.
I painted my lower cabinets a dark blue with yellow walls as my kitchen has no external windows- rooms were added around it.
The dark blue hides coffee & tomato sauce drips.
I've used a lot of black wrought iron accent pieces, pot rack, towel rack, shelf, saute pan rack, wine rack, etc.
I bought everyone's Tuscan wine home decor donated to Goodwill for a quarter of the price they bought new, lol.

Hi Suzie. It's a little hard to tell on camera what the colours are so I hope this still helps. I'd match up the yellow in the background of the curtains then go with about half strength of that colour. This will help the curtains stand out a little but not to much. The walls will have a bit of colour so won't be white but still light enough to reflect light and the red of the fireplace will be feature.
Your trees and decorations look beautiful. My vote for the wall paint colour would be the one that is closest to the back ground colour of your curtain fabric. Would be bright, clean looking and most of all very stylish. Best wishes from Australia xx

I love you decorations, your making Christmas magic with your spirit. I have alot of decorations given to me that have special meaning too. Max perked up when you wound up the lovely globe. Our boxer Karla had her first day at work as a therapy dog a few weeks ago. She don't like the snow or cold though as she was a rescue from Texas. Best wishes both.
