      Cheers, today the Showa is already looking a little better, though I doubt the dorsal will grow back, as it is gone right down to body in that spot😀

      Yes I know what you’re saying, I nearly knocked the camera in the pound, I will figure something else out next time, I am too old to do it on the ground.

    Great video mate 👍, it's a eye opener for me with the mallakite green, I'll definitely use that when I need to.

    Tony you shouldn't put sedate in the water before taking a scrape as it will Immobilise any parasites or the will simply leave the host. You say you found a fluke that wasn't moving, this could possibly be due to the sedation. I wouldn't imagine the damage will heal properly especially without your intervention and heat.

    • @FARMOORKOI
      @FARMOORKOI  Před 6 měsíci

      I hear what your saying, but the fish bearly hit the water when I did the scrap, yes one imobile fluke, probably not moving due to the cold, no the dorsal will not repair itself, it had gone from the body up, with a small ulcer under it, shame but that is how it goes, still a nice Koi😀

      @@FARMOORKOI I'm sure it will. They always look so happy and healthy. Great way to be if something like this happens. I'm sure they're going to be feeling great again in no time. I absolutely love your underwater footage. They all have beautiful bodies, and color for shooting a side view. I could watch yours all day. Not kidding. Some just are not that attractive when viewed from the side. Luckily for you, you picked the right ones for top, and side viewing, since you do underwater footage. 👍 Win, win for us viewers. 🤗
