Yay! just got this same training collar. Our two trouble maker Aussies are such a good boy now heheheheheh. I just used the beep and they responded well no more jumping, pulling leash and chasing/bark cars while we're walking.

I like the product but it has a ton of extra leash just hanging. Is there a trick to shortening the leash without all the slack?

I would return i have the model for my dog and she chases cars all day this thing does not even faze her the beep she does not care and the vibration still does not care and lastly the shock i can put it on and it is nothing so for 50$ put another 70$ with it and get something that will actually help you train your dog.

purchased this 2 months ago and now the collar will not hold a charge, notified the company who only gave me 30 days to send back which of course it worked during that time. Waste of money

No, you cannot set it up that way.
this is basically a training collar with the maximum distance of 3300 ft
I just realized I bought the wrong type of collar. I guess that's why it was only $40. The other type are much more.

The only question I have is when he said you can pretty much plug the end of the power cord into anything to charge --- when the instructions plainly say only use a 5V1A adapter to charge. I dunno if plugging into a laptop would damage the receiver and remote? Anybody?
It should be ok. I would not use a 30W power Supply
3300 ft vs 330 ft?
Lol, i have the same question. He said 330 ft. That actually sounds right. I can't imagine this working over 1/2 mile (3300 ft) , my property line is actually 1/4 mile 1320ft.
