Learning advanced English is extremely challenging for me. Every time, I always write down the expressions that come up often but it takes me forever to master one or two expressions. They can be tricky to understand. Compassionate means you feel sorry for someone and want to help them, while empathetic means you can understand and share someone’s feelings.
