Hi, I am a local Singaporean.
I just wanted to share some useful information to you after watching this video.
1. The hashtag that is featured from 4:26 - 4:30 is actually made up of 2 parts. 'Funan' is the name of the shopping mall that you were in, and 'SG' is the ISO 3166 code for Singapore and the common two letter abbreviation for Singapore.
2. The church featured at 18:07 is actually Saint Andrew's Cathedral, which is an Anglican Cathedral in Singapore. The cathedral is over 100 years old.
3. The construction that you mentioned at 19:09 is because of a celebration that takes place on 9th August every year, not a F1 race. At 19:12, you will notice some big red letters within the white zone behind the traffic light. When completed, the letters are supposed to be 'NDP', which stands for 'National Day Parade'. National Day is essentially Singapore's Independence Day, to celebrate Singapore's independence after separating from Malaysia in 1965. This year, the NDP will be held at 'The Padang', which explains all the construction happening on both sides of the road. The side featured in 19:12 is for public participants while the side featured in 19:17 with the crane are for VIPs and government officials, including the Prime Minister and the President.
4. At 27:12, The term 'PUB' is actually not pronounced as 'pub'. It is pronounced by saying each letter as you would in your English alphabet (pronounced as 'Pea You Bee'). 'PUB' stands for 'Public Utilities Board'.
5. Although Singapore is the most expensive city in the world, it is still possible to find good and affordable food at the various hawker centres in Singapore. I highly recommend you to try hawker centres such as Maxwell Food Centre, Amoy Street Food Centre, Chinatown Complex Food Centre, Hong Lim Food Centre and People's Park Food Centre.

It is because of the strong currencies among most countries. Whereas, you might think that Thailand, Malaysia, or other southeast countries are cheaper. In fact, it is more expensive for the locals who work and live there.

Next time, if you come back, you can try the Singapore version of McSpicy. It's arguably thr most popular McD burger in SG. As for the shaker fries, we still have them but they are seasonal items. Like the Yakiniku Burger. They are only here for a limited time. There was a Nasi Lemak Burger once which I liked a lot.

The Vegas place you mentioned is probably also owned by the company that owns and manages Marina Bay Sands. They have similar casino/hotel/malls in Macau with the same setup too.
If you ever come back to Singapore and want to visit the Gardens By The Bay domes, buy your tickets online or on their app and you won't need to queue to get tickets.
Yeah the casino was part of the hotel so makes sense.

Hawker food $5 to $7, MRT $1.50 to $2 per trip, taxi fare about $1.20 to $1.50 per minute (normal taxi; not Grab) . Most expensive city in the world? How do above prices for food and transport compare with those in Switzerland, New York, Norway, etc for a tourist ? Our hotel rates are comparable with that in Australia . Nobody mentions Australia as most expensive city in the world .
Australia isn't a city. You're also only talking about a few points. What about tobacco tax or alcohol tax or any other expensive taxes that need to be factored into the equation. Mentioning a subway price doesn't really prove the point you're trying to make. Although i understand what you're saying.

🤣I can tell you don't fly that often if you think that's first class. KLM doesn't even have a first class cabin. Check out Emirates or Singapore Airlines if you want to see what a real first class seat looks like.
7 flights in less than two months is often enough i think. Two of which were emirates. And $8k on a one way no thank you.
