Remember Pablo Hidalgo going after him for crying in his reaction to the finale of the Mandelorian season 2. Or LucasFilm going after his fan film.
But Star Wars Theory in all of that has been the bigger person and I have a lot of respect for him because of that. Because he just loves Star Wars and what Lucas built. It’s also now his job which is a whole other level of play.

Forgot about that Mando s2 drama. Even so, the last time I had any cautious optimism about SW was after seeing TFA. Disney had thrown the EU out the window, many narrative choices were questionable, and there were plenty of signs of Mary Sewage, but I was willing to hope that such inconsistencies would be addressed in layer installments. Then TLJ happened, and I knew the IP had been willfully sabotaged beyond repair, another act of iconoclasm that had already tainted countless IPs I once loved.
Since then, I have rejected _everything_ produced under Disney as fruit of the poisonous tree (especially a RO _without Kyle Katarn)._ Even the creative struggles between Darth Menopause and John Favreau left me unmoved, because nothing they produced would ever be canon, only a gleeful repudiation of canon. Favreau was the last spark of narrative integrity left in the writer's room, and we all know what happened to him. Frankly, it disturbs me that anyone could even pretend to be hyped for anything SW-related after TLJ, especially anyone who clearly loved Lucas' vision and the EU.
I hope, for his sake, SWT finally takes off the bandaid and finally reads the writing on the wall.

By Fandom policy, Fandom sites (of which Wookieepedia is one) can't be duplicative-i.e., only one _Star Wars_ Wiki, only one _Transformers_ Wiki, only one _The Big Bang Theory_ Wiki, etc. Nothing says SWTheory couldn't create a new site from scratch, but that's a lot of legwork just to prove a point.
Unfortunately, Disney owns Star Wars and official canon. However, F them. I have my own personal canon. Sequels and Acolyte aren't in it.

Wookiepedia has just lost all credibility as far as I am concerned. I would love to see Star Wars Theory create his own Star Wars Wikipedia.
