Legitimately one of the best metal albums i've heard in general. Mainstream or underground doesn't matter. This is sick
Amazing Music for Metalheads. Great sound quality.
if a band doesn't want their music to be heard without a 'fee' to do so, then stay in basements behind cement walls. music is for hearing first and foremost!! cheers
i pre-listen it in here, i like it, i buy it. Already have FEARLESS UNDEAD MACHINE cd. hoping one day, it will re-issue on LP. Cheers, UP THE TOMBSTONE!
Thorns King hell's headbangers has pre-orders for the LP in case you didn't know. Got my pre-order in tonight! Cheers!
already order this album and the Behind The Mourning's Veil EP. Hey King, reissue that Luck Of The Corpse and The 13 Frightened Soul, PLEASE!
You rule, King!!! Happy 50th!
i have the CD and i also bought their "picture disc" vinyl record. . even though i don't even own a record player. i paid 6.66 for it. directly from their website years and years ago.
too bad, i don't have that record anymore. no idea if it's worth anything today
"expired friends" haha i like that phrase. great album! i love every Deceased releases! i'll keep hunting their stuff slowly, hellyeah!
+Fun Factor H.O.T i still searching for "13 frightened soul" and "behind the Mourner's veil". This band journey are interesting. I dont have all their releases but i already complete the full lenght except "Rotten To The Core" tribute album. And some compilation, split and ep. My favorite will be always "As The Weird Travels On" fuckkkk yeargh!!!
+Fun Factor H.O.T i'm trying persuading my buddy to sell his copy of "13 frightened soul". Sometimes i need time listening others genre or music to "melt down" my brain that full of this evil sound of metal. "Blueprints of madness" are awesome. But when this album come out, i just wtf!! But slowly i accept it. Try "as the weird travel on" and "surreal overdose". Superb!
i already check it. cool!! i dont cafre Christian Metal, Buddha Metal, Islam Metal as long as the music is good, i take it! Haha!
@@harrr5427 I have 13 frightened souls and blueprints for madness on cassette.
One of the grooviest, most head bangin' albums in the history of Metal. Still eternally grateful to King and Co. for coming to Hellhole, WV; paying this stuff and allowing me to share the stage.
+Wraithborne isn't Wraithborne the former Disinter??
ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE from beginning to end
I just love this band. Interesting riffs for tons of satisfaction.
I remember vomiting to this album for the first time, it was the best experience I ever had.
i always dig complex death metal like this and Blueprints for Madness
cheers and thanks for posting this :)
Wasn't big on the vocals or lyrics at first, but the riffs pulled me in. Now i like everything about this album.
a masterpiece
R.I.P. Dave "Scarface" Castillo...😪
one of the best album starters - classic and modern in the same time; unforgetable
Hails to the King 👑 Fowley
What a cool name. 😈
the absolute single greatest concept album ever recorded in the history of metal !!!
this album is a brilliant masterpiece conceived in the sick and twisted Minds of one of the pioneers of old school death metal !!! It doesn't get any better than the zombie apocalypse folks !!!!
💯🇺🇸🦅🗽💀👹🤘🤘🎸🥁⚰️☠️
Stellar album👊💯🔥
From what I’ve heard from them this is there best album. This is killer and I like the lyrics
The intro to "From The Ground They Came" totally sounds like something you'd hear in an actual zombie flick
This is an amazing and fun work of art!
This was the first Deceased that I heard and got. I didn't consider them Death metal but more of a Thrash band. Still a great band by any standard.
They're a death thrash hybrid like Agressor, Solstice, Demolition Hammer etc.
Such a great album .the latest one ghostly white is amazing as well .just a killer band that seem to be a bit overlooked .
This is such a fucking sick release. I love all their stuff but this one hits different.
wow , this is superb
Hail to the King, baby!
What a great album!
Just now hearing thanks to decibel magazines Hall of Fame series. Sounds like it came out '87 instead of '97. Not a bad thing!
This masterpiece will always be in my top 10... Hail the King !!!
Фантастичный альбом!
Banger!
13 Frightened Souls is my favorite Deceased.
His voice is awesome
I just bought the digital download with a free shirt.Fucking badass!! 🤘🔥
is interesting hiw they choose to slow the tempo and then speed it up againin my mind i'm imagining like the slow tempo is reminiscent of the zombies walking, while the faster tempo is the survivors running away and their hearts beating and panicking and it shifts back and forth between the fast and the slow.
and the entire time, it's relentlessly beating away, clawing at you, like a zombie, never tiring, a fearless, undead, machine
Honestly you might be onto something, especially with that opening track
CLASSIC
i think a major reason this album is their best, besides the fact that it pays homage to the greatest zombie movies of all time is that the singer has (mostly) clean vocals, i mean, he still growls but i can actually understand what he's saying. none of their other work has such easy to understand lyrics.
Welcome to death metal haha
Masterpiece to me!!!
A combination of Megadeth and Omen with Cronos of Venom providing the Voice. About the best way to describe the sound. Deceased have come a long way from Luck of the Corpse, and this album is at least 23 years old. And this is the most current album I own by the band. If they are still playing it would be interesting to hear what direction the band has gone. Maybe they now sound like Left Hand Path like everything else does today
Supernatural Addiction is the album that came out right after this one (came out in the year 2000) and it essentially sounds like this album but shorter and slightly more polished. Everything after follows what Deceased has always done, some being slightly more traditional speed/thrash influenced and some being more NWOBHM influenced like this and Supernatural Addiction but everything they've done is worth listening to imo. I can definitely say none of it sounds like Entombed lol
You should listen to more metal today if you think everything sounds like left hand path. It definitely doesn't
@@pigdestroyer9143 You are right, some bands sound like Suffocation - Effigy of the Forgotten.
@40yoldvirgininaflatbrimmed81 sure, but then you have Gorod, Cattle Decapitation, Blood Incantation, Tomb Mold, Revocation, Gatecreeper, Dying Fetus, Belphegor... not everything sounds the same man don't be such a hipster

Holy fucking shit... MASTER FUCKING PIECE \m/
The good shit
Awesome album!
the best fucking riffs ever!
roll initiative
Deceased... are in a death metal niche of their own. Though it may seem to some that this is not death metal, it truly is at its core. Death Metal shouldn't be classified into a small box based solely on the sound of the instrumentation and vocals. Death Metal is primarily conceptual. Deceased... nails it.
Im not sure if this death metal,it sounds like progressive thrash to me which is great,i love technical thrash. This album blows my mind for the time it was released.Masterpiece
Death/thrash/traditional metal. It's a blend. And a damn good one! \m/

It sounds like venom
The 3 thumbs down must be metallica fans
I don't see how Metallica fans would hate this
@Travis the Caveman so why does he hate Metallica
@@stevenbaksh5545because there's not enough wahwah shredding or "ooohhh yeaHUH"
So much 90s death metal is lame and all the same. EXCEPT FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Death??? Morbid angel??? Deicide????? Autopsy???? cannibal corpse?? OBITUARY???? CARCASS??? THEY ALL RELEASED THERE BEST WORK IN THE 90S MAN
Great concept album material ruined by the terrible vocals.
Agreed. Compare this to their 1991 album Luck Of The Corpse and they're in a completely different league in every way.
what
that is how old school death suppose to sounds like.
I agree dude
@@prafullaboro7770 Old school Death should sound like Deicide, Obituary. Not this garbage.
