We spent a total of wayyyyy to much ($264) adding a Futaba 4pm with 304 reciever and Reve D Rs-St Servo. We are still fine tuning the stock settings but the car is BEGGING for a new ESC and Motor combo...

Easily one of the RC drift channel with the most potential👍Love the creative content keep it up and one day you’ll be big.
Mark my words
Thanks and cheers Wabadabadooo, that’s a major compliment!
Can’t wait to get my MST RMX 2.0 kit out this weekend to test it out. Thank you for the tips and tricks 👍
Every video gets me more stoked for the matsuri
Really enjoy these vids. I just got in to the hobby so it’s nice to have a bit of a guideline. Keep up the content 🙏🏽
Well done. I upgrade to the same transmitter and it is a game changer on the rtr. Highly recommend as the first expensive upgrade lol
Awesome video as usual! The radio and servo make a huge difference! Its so much smoother!
Yess! Another upload!
$40/week budget. Lol you’re a true RC nut like me. Setting budgets never works for builds for me either. Nice choice on radio.
Been loving this series really thinking about getting one hahaha.
Just found your channel today. So much great content man THANK YOU! I have the same car with a similar set up and the Futaba receiver. I have only been into Drift cars for about a week, so I'm still pretty clueless. I have so many question lol. I have been practicing and adjusting as I go but it can be a little overwhelming at times.
Hang in there! Thanks for tuning in!
thanks for the follow up , next how about a gyro swap
So I've been on the fence hoping my 4pl radio would suffice..... Looks like I'm not going to be so lucky as I may need the telemetry in the new futaba radios. Curious about 7 or 10 though myself as a 4 channel doesn't feel as much of an upgrade for me.
Thinking my MST RMX 2.0 may need a better gyro. I can generally drift pretty ok with it, but I noticed sometimes the wheels won't go back to center after drifting for a bit. If I turn it off and back on, it'll center back properly. I'm new to this channel, so I guess I'm going to have to go back through this build series and see what else I've missed 😊
Welcome! What servo are you using? Generally the centers issue is servo related but can be gyro potentially. Easy way to check is plug servo in direct to reciever (bypass the gyro.) our stock servo was doing that, new servo (reve-d) isnt and on the same gyro.
@@ScaleScience Everything is 100% stock right now. Where do you find the Reve-D products?
@@NathanStorer-RC we sell them!
@@ScaleScience you have a website? Do you ship?
@@NathanStorer-RC yes and yes. ScaleScienceRc.Com or you can FB message us for parts we might not have listed online yet.
"Upgrade our electronics a specific way" - **cough** **cough** **potential s.bus** 🤔👀
Anything’s possible!
Nice video! 💯. Got 2 questions, what magnet posts are you using? And what is your opinion on Sanwa Controllers for RC Drifting?
They rock, we just happened upon this great deal and a majority of our drivers are on futaba so it makes asking a questions much easier!
Magnet mounts are an MST product.
Great Video! I understand controller settings are based on the individuals driving style. Im just curious as to what your final settings were.
Ever changing so I’m not sure at that point. Anything specifically you were wanting to know from the settings? I might be able to check
what did you use to do the body lines? I like how I get into this hobby right after moving away from denver..
Watch episode 2
Which music is running during the drift clips?
Is there a reason why all the rc drift cars have the front wheels stick out more than the rear?
Yes, it will drift better =)
@@MrJimpoo cool thanks
Thank you for the informative videos first off. Question though as I try to understand the nuances of setting up a drift car. If you have the adjustability in the radio, why do you need a programmable servo too?
The program peramiters are finer on the servo, plus the servo offers some setting adjustments like creating a new center point for the servo digitally which the radio unfortunetly doesn’t offer. Great question!
@@ScaleScience that’s extremely helpful! I had no idea you could reset a center point. I’ve always just reset my servo horn!
Plz do a video more detailed about that controller because I have it and I still get confused on setting my gayro speed and stuff
I’ll work on it!
