    I recently purchased an old resin kit and I've been worried about the old J-bot decals being rather thin and this is the exact product I've been looking for.. Thank you friend :)

    This film will keep the old decals from denigrating once in the water?

    • @ScaleModellingHellas
      @ScaleModellingHellas  Před 9 měsíci

      Yes. The decals were breaking in many pieces once i rinsed them in the water. But the application of this liquid saved the rest of them.

    So when using this, you're not using water to remove the decal? I've got a sheet of old decals for a 1/43 Corvette that are breaking apart in water as well. I would have assumed you use this then put in water as normal but is this not the case?

      Once you apply the Micro Sol liquid, you let it dry. After that you use the decals as always. With water. The only difference is that you must cut tight around the decal so that you avoid the excess film.

    Πάντα αναρωτιομουν γτ είναι δύο αυτά τα μπουκάλια, τώρα ξέρω τουλάχιστον τι κάνει το ένα. Ωραίος. Κ ακόμα πιο ωραίος, γτ το BBQ στην Ελλάδα είναι προτεραιότητα.😉😉😊

      Αν εννοεις το άλλο μπουκαλάκι το SOL είναι για να μαλακώνει τις χαλκομανίες ώστε να ακολουθοπύν την επιφάνεια πανω στην οποία μπαίνουν.

    My friend you are doing it all wrong. cut a decal out of paper and let it soak in water for just a few seconds and the decal will start to lift off paper. Put some of the SET on the area you want to place decal. Now with tweezers move it over onto the spot. Lightly brush the bubbles and liquid out from under the decal. You are done.

      @ScaleModellingHellas  Před 3 lety +1

      Believe me, the minute i tried to move it, it was breaking in parts.
