Let me add a tip about folding the wings back. A fellow Kitfox owner built a high chair mounted on a furniture dolly. You lift the tail and put it on the high chair and it makes it easy to fold the wings with full tanks otherwise it’s a two person task.

Looks like a Main landing gear Jack, not the Tail wheel.
What landing gear is installed on your Kitfox? I need the same for my Model II
highwing designed it years ago but they no longer exist. I think there is a guy named Robert that is building them now.
I had a Grove Landing gear on my Kitfox IV. Less drag and it was one piece.
