Best place to get crabs is in Charleston/Coos Bay area in Oregon, but man you need a real crab trap. Maybe a little north for you, but if you get the chance check it out. Just go to the marina in Charleston and throw a trap off the dock.

As much as I love my 2016 4runner trail, you have a really sweet build ( not you, the truck 😅😅 ) like you, I to enjoy getting out with my 4runner which that to is decked out for overlandding, keep up the great work as it always leaves me looking forward to my next solo trip, and as always, be safe out there.
Might help if you post a date when the video was filmed since Dungeness crab has been out of season since July 31. Love the videos brother, no doubt you were out there legal. 🤙🏽

I'm surprised that beach is still open. Last couple of times I was there (on a weekend), there were people everywhere, rave parties till 6am, trash wherever you looked, and bonfires and fireworks on the beach despite a no burn mandate. And in the morning, a bunch of folks were doing donuts on the beach in their 4x4s despite signs everywhere saying it was prohibited. That kind of behavior is usually a great recipe for closing public lands. Glad to see that it's still open and that it does look pretty clean.

@bustabeatgeorge A lot we used to get Rangers driving thru trash service and people took better care of it. Its still a great place. Did you check out the forest trail on the end of the bridge? Really cool tress to see if you missed it make sure to look for it next time.@@bustabeatgeorge

Looked like a nice trip. Been looking into the Alucab for my Colorado. I would like to know if there is any wind noise from the roof top over the cab or from the awning on the side. I hate to think that would bena dealbreaker for me. Thanks. Safe travels.
There’s no wind noise, not that I know of.
Having a roof rack with a deflector had helped a lot
