- New engine!! This is Vittorazi 80. Just launched last year, and I believe I'm the first owner here in Indonesia. So of course a new engine makes everyone excited. Though, I've been struggling to answer a question that people frequently ask to me about this engine since the first time I flew it. "How does it compare to Top 80??". That question is keep on coming probably because I previously owned Top 80 (i still have it, and giving me a hard time to fix it). However, I didn't buy the Top 80 brand new. I bought a second-handed engine. So if I compare the two, it would be unfair, but I can give you a little bit difference that I've noticed since the first flight. Atom has a better vibration compensation!! Way way better. My back feels so different when I switched. Secondly, the design. This may not affect the engine performance or the way it flies, but to me physical look is pretty important and seeing the Atom is just look vicious and compact. So far, that's all the difference that I've noticed. If you're a subscriber, and you've been following every single videos that I've uploaded, you might notice It has been a while since the last time I uploaded, and my video is not dense like It used to be. Well It's because I'm very busy training for competition recently and I'm not as passionate as I used to be in term of making videos. I have a brand new Atom80 and I am in the break in process. I have a few doubts; only a 2% oil on break in and 1.5% oil after? Isn't that to low %? Did you follow the instruction manual steps for break in? Another question; I have a weird problem with my motor, On ground break in it goes from 2000rpm on idle and reaches up to 9000rpm on max throttle input, wich is fine, but once in the air and after taking off the max rpm I get at full throttle input is 7500!!!! Is that normal? Are you getting the same Max rpm on ground and flying?

im so sorry for the late respond, but thanks for asking! I usually do break in for my engines with 4% oil just for safety. 2% is pretty low but i rarely follow the book since i want to play save. If ure doing everything that the instruction book tells u to do correctly, then i assume its the carburetor setting. You probably need to tweak it a bit to find the perfect setting!

Hi Arlen! Nice video. May I ask your weight? My instructor says you could actually fly a person up to 215lbs on an Atom...but I see it’s not rated for more than 187lbs.
Thanks for asking!! Im currently at 158lbs. Yeah, at 215lbs is possible to fly atom, but what is your flying style? If you're aiming for fun flying, I would recommend you to go with Vittorazzi 185!!
Arlen Verta I am just starting out but eventually I would like to fly “fun” 😉. I’ll take you advice and go with the 185! I’m thinking the climb rate would be much better with the Moster 185 at my weight of 185lbs.
@@AndyRial at 185lbs , atom 80 can fly you no problem. It depend on what wing you use and your flying style. If just starting out then you will appreciate light engine more than the heavy one cause you have more control and less aching with your body. I'm 185 fly my Top80 more than my Nirvana rodeo.

You just have to connect the throttle wire to the carburetor of the engine!!

whats with all the “opened and resealed” tape on the box? It looks like someone went through everything before you got it. Did customs do that?

Yes of course! The engine mounting shape on top 80 compare to atom 80 is completely different. So I did a couple adjustments to the frame.
i also fly with a second-hand miniplane top80 and would like to get the atom80 soon but keep the frame. how much modification did you have to do to the frame?
@@WatermelonIgloo i only add a couple of aluminum blocks, and re adjust the nut holes to atom!!

It cost around 2900 euro..
Im not really sure about the maximum pilot weight, but i weigh 73 kgs, and it still have some spare power for extra weight. I'd say its around 90kg max.

Tergantung Merk dan Kondisi bro. Parasutnya umumnya di 35 - 50 an bro. kalo mesin diatas 80 rata2 udah komplit. tergantung kreatifnya bro sendiri juga. mesin2 ga official juga banyak yang ga 1 set bisa lebih murah!
Berapa juta pak harganya dan siapa bisa mengimpot masuk?
tergantung option apa aja yang di ambil pak. kemaren sekitar 45an. bisa langsung kontak ke dealernya aja.
