We had such an incredible meal and time, and definitely one of our top dining experiences. All the meals were perfectly executed, delicious and memorable!
Came across your video while researching where to go my friend's birthday. Your reaction to the uni on the toast is so much more descriptive then any review I have read. Saison is on our short list of places to go, along with californios, quince, and lazy bear.

Will do, it really is a "first world problem" to have, we first started off the with the 3 stars, and Quince was the only one we hadn't gone in the area to so we were leaning towards going there just to be complete. But, looking at the other places we are thinking maybe we should try one of them out instead. From what I can gather the Saison menu seems to be a lot more balanced and recent pictures/reviews on yelp leave me a little weary. I am sure it would still be one of the best meals I ever had, but maybe some other place would be more fulfilling, more research needs to be done. SInce you visted here before the S3 scoring system, what score would you give them?
Saison would probably sneak into S2 but lower end of that score points wise. That said we are there almost two years ago now so it’s hard to judge things can change for better or worse!

It's definitely one of our top 5 experiences / menus! We did get lucky, though, getting the best seat in the house with the best view of the kitchen and zero obstructions. Definitely helped make the dinner even more special!
How many courses did they give you? Planning to go next month when bookings open up.
