It's true- the price point is so good right now but I doubt it will last! There is something so simplistic and chic about the vintage version :)

Congratulations Jessica! I think the bamboo handles look really nice with the smooth leather. I like that there’s a flap over the magnetic closure rather than just an open tote. Glad it’s not heavy too. 🥳🥳🥳

Me too! I’ve never been a fan of GUCCI but when I saw the Jackie and Diana … I hit the vintage website and saw some good items at good prices!

That bag is stunning, I absolutely love the color. Although its light weight I'm sure the strap would be a great alternative, especially when commuting .

Oops! I thought it was dark green and was in full lust/“I will steal this from her” mode. Calmed down when you clarified it was brown. It’s really beautiful and quite chic. Bamboo handles aren’t city commuter friendly in my opinion - and I would worry about the handles rubbing against each other from carrying. But gorgeous for the “I get driven everywhere” type.
Ha!! I have seen some green versions but I believe only in the suede (which is definitely not commuter friendly). I don't think it's commuter friendly as it is but I am going to get a crossbody/shoulder strap and then I think it'll be fine! The handles are lightweight and don't hurt against the body and seem to be pretty robust so I don't expect they'll get rubbed too much. It's definitely not the perfect commuting bag but I do plan to use it to commute at least a bit in the future :)

Thank you! I am looking forward to it getting a little longer :) I believe a 13 inch macbook is about the same size as a folder so it might but it'll be tight! If you give me the exact dimensions I can try and let you know!

I think the bamboo handles require extra care, right? Some kind of conditioning or polishing?
It depends on your climate but generally not for the old ones! They are cured and lacquered so they do not need much but in humid climates the bamboo can warp and straighten out a bit- especially in the few years following their creation. I think the vintage ones are pretty maintenance free :)

Hi, I don’t know for sure though I suspect it might- however, it would be a very tight fit and difficult to get in and out
