    Big surprise for me. I've bought SC Elite V3 with a huge discount(50%) and never regret it. I use it for tempo runs but they are so comfortable also on slower pace runs. From start this shoe looks unstable because of the gel used on the heel side but it's misleading. It has good stability in the run and also provide good protetction for the required areas and also it's easy to put it on the feet - in the contrary to other race shoes on the market like for example adidas boston/adios pro style shoes. You also run almost in silence because it does not give you this characteristic sound on asphalt.

    This shoe rocks. Feels so great and a bit less aggressive than other carbon plate shoes. Also love the yellow colourway

    Just ordered a pair today and your review made me more confident I got the right shoe!

    Great work!
    1) Thanks for including your Height & Weight. That’s a huge value add when talking wear & tear on shoes.
    2) Love to see your opinion on a comparison between these and the NB Rebel 3s. Same foam, less stack and no plate.

      Hey Mark! I appreciate it and agree 100% . I ve brought in shoes which were supposed to "100s of miles" but because of that they were out and very fast.
      I haven't actually run in the Rebel line up before , I'll check them out! Fuel cell without a plate would be quite an experience!

      Great comment ! I am similar height and weight will watch your videos more closely as I may have similarities in terms of experience :-) I have the new balance rebel v3 and love it , foam is amazing . Great tempo run shoe for 5-6 miles and the value is there! FYI , I needed a wide version of rebel and I have only slightly wider feet and don’t always buy wide shoes.

      Thanks Paul! Ahh that sounds absolutely ideal for the rotation. Definitely going to have to look into it more

      100% if you're a fuel cell fan it's an absolute must try! I also just went over 250 miles in the elite V3 and only now is it becoming to feel a little more less responsive and flat

    Nice review Yani. I'm surprised at how well the sole has held up after a 100 miles. The fit is a little bit of a concern after seeing what it did to your foot but I'm glad it cleared up.

    • @yani.leigh.
      @yani.leigh.  Před rokem +1

      Thank you! I'm surprised as well. I always just assume the more soft a foam is, the less durable it may be.
      Yeah it's tough, I think that's part of the risk/reward with knits. Unbelievably comfortable but a lot of room for error.

    Great review, you had the bleeding while wearing socks above the heel?

    • @yani.leigh.
      @yani.leigh.  Před rokem +2

      I did yeah unfortunately that's just how some Knits work for me, regardless of sock

    Great Review, did you try the Endorphin Pro 3 ? can you compare it to SC Elite V3

    • @yani.leigh.
      @yani.leigh.  Před rokem +2

      Hey Manuel , I absolutely did try it and made a review video! Check that out but key points would be my endorphin pro 3s ran a half size small, I definitely prefer the knit upper in the sc elite over the pro 3, although both are class and just with the amount of training I'm doing right now, the fuel cell foam has been an absolute savior, even though the power run pb in the pro 3 is quite soft as well.
      If there was no sizing issue maybe I would have a different opinion but for me, the sc elite v3 just checks more boxes in terms of what I'm looking for!

    I have a pair I bought back end of last year and they have been sitting in the garage until recently , I am currently putting them against my Saucony pro3 and the the new Mizuno's for which shoe I use for the Manchester Marathon (UK) in April. I have not decided yet all three are very good .

    • @yani.leigh.
      @yani.leigh.  Před rokem +1

      The Mizuno wave rebellion pro!? How are they?

    • @JohnBirtchetSharpe
      @JohnBirtchetSharpe Před rokem +1

      @@yani.leigh. quick , regardless of your natural pace , it will push you; I am a slower then you so I need to be at marathon pace or better to get the magic out of the shoe, Possibly it is the first shoe where I have actually felt a roll , rather then a land and snap to toe off ( the latter being a shallow imitation for those of us that have let loose in barefoot shoes in the past) , they have come up with something interesting that's for sure. Only done a single long run in them so far (went up half a size so no toe issues).

    • @yani.leigh.
      @yani.leigh.  Před rokem +2

      @@JohnBirtchetSharpeahh that's awesome. Those are definitely going to be a must try for me. I have the endorphin elites coming in hopefully this week but I think the rebellion pros need to be next on the list.

    How does the plate stiffness compare to the RC2? Is there more flex in the fore and/or midfoot?

    • @yani.leigh.
      @yani.leigh.  Před rokem

      It feels like less flex for sure. Hard to say if it's plate, midsole cut out or geometry but I d assume it's all put together. The plate is definitely more prevalent in this version . I wouldn't say it's a super aggressive feeling by any means but definitely adds more spring. Definitely more of a lively ride.

    I have never run in a carbon plated shoe. I am an average runner and have been running in cushioned shoes. I am interested in buying this shoes. Your advice please. Thanks.

    • @yani.leigh.
      @yani.leigh.  Před 3 měsíci

      It's an amazing entry level carbon plated shoe forsure. Not to aggressive , can handle all speeds and very comfortable. I use this for every type of session and it only seems to get better !
