    I like to bring a email sign up list with a clip-board. I collect potential customers emails and phone numbers so I can market to them later.

    Good energy goes a long way in developing relationships with other vendors. It's all about the Aloha. When you are alone, they can watch your booth when you have to go to the restroom and vice versa. When you are gone, and someone shows up at your booth, they will jump in and try to cover, but most of all, they will say, "He should be right back." Good energy is the key to positive results. Mahalo for the info.

    Polynesian vibes for sure! I bring a chalk board and chalk. I vend somewhere that is along a street so we kids play with the chalk and draw on the floor but also we can write whatever we want to bring a customer in. Keeps the parents at the booth a little longer and kids entertained.

    I always bring a good quality lawn chair. Like you said, these days get long so having something comfortable to sit on in between the customer rushes is vital. And yes, always keep the cooler stocked haha! Especially with the prices of food and drinks at festivals/events these days!

    Booth Etiquette - When a potential customer is looking at someone else's product : Do not disturb them and just wait for your chance to talk to them. I see this happen so often especially with new vendors that are to excited to share their great new products that they hurt sales for their neighbors

    Wassup Brandoh. I recently been watching your videos and finally got my heat press and ordered some transfers. I’m originally from Hawaii but relocated to Michigan so I’m trynna get established here. I own a faith based brand called Fearless Faith. Trynna make clothes for the younger generation to show off their faith in style. And help spread the word. I’d love to chop it up somehow if possible. Have a blessed 1. Aloha 🤙🏼

    What items do you like sell at events like that and what do you base your quantities on?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před rokem +1

      i sell t shirts and hats. quantities are all a guessing game. i take into account whos gona be there, knowing the event lets me prepare better. foot traffic, target audience, show times, vendor turn out. all that plays a part in how much stuff i bring and what sizes i bring

    also what’s the method you use to search for vending events?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před rokem +1

      i always start local. if you live in southern california, i always post local vending events and opportunities on my instagram. but i suggest going to your city hall and ask what events are coming up and they'll show you the calendar. most of the time you can apply to be a vendor right there. churchs, highschools, ymca, boys and girls clubs, youth service orgs, non profits, vfw's, etc.... gotta go in and talk to the people to find out where you can vend at

    What’s the booth or space fee for the wine festival? And where?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před rokem +1

      its a hawaiian festival. depends on size of booth and who you rent it from. this festival is different than most. vendor booths are owned by clubs, hula halau's and organizations. so vendor booth spaces can be any where from $100-$2,000 all depends on what they wanna make off of it. but this festival is unique in this sense. other festivals are ran by a single organization that sets the price themself.

    Uce, how do you determine what sizes to stock. Like I want to sell 100 shirts @ the vending show, how can I determine the sizes I take?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před rokem +2

      whats up uce. to be honest, its a guessing game. This hawaiian festival in gona vend at brings out all the southern california polynesians. so i know my people are on the bigger side. so i stock up heavy on XL, 2X and 3X. i also go heavy on tank tops more than tshirts. i also play into the hoods that show up, so i got blue shit, red shit, brown shit for the polynesian MC's. feel me? knowing who will be at the event helps.

    When you sell at vendor events do you charge taxes or is that included in the price?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před rokem +3

      i charge tax if they pay with credit card. no tax if they pay with cash. i do this so i dont have to deal with change. but i also fix my prices to cover tax and expenses.
