Student Spotlight: Jae Johnson ’24

Meet Jae Johnson, a USD psychology major and poet. With hard work, he earned a military scholarship to attend USD and found inspiration from fellow graduate Kaia Morrison. Through his podcast, Black Royalty, he works to amplify the voices of underrepresented students, fostering unity and empowerment among other students of color. After graduation, he plans to pursue an MBA and grow Black Royalty into a platform to support other creatives of color even further.
