Pedophiles are the most conniving, selfish, artful manipulators I have ever come across in the court system.
They are expert verbal manipulators. They NEVER change with therapy. They just become more sophisticated at getting away with their activity and picking up the lingo necessary to fool people further.

Seeing how the system basically protects these types of criminals makes me think these behaviors are WAY more common, especially among the people in charge within the justice system who let this sickos get away with it. It was the local judge in my case who showed a favoritism for the perpetrator (and perhaps bc of his fancy lawyer). Local law enforcement & cps said they had never seen a case like mine in their careers, and that it was like a storyline from one of those crime shows. The evidence was very straightforward and there was a lot of it. Yet the judge ruled for barely a slap on the hand. There is even a MAPS flag that lgbqt plus people have amongst their other flags and there are buttons that you see being worn by supporters. The ideology of all this pronouns stuff and trans stuff they are saying that MAPS deserve to be left alone and that they have feeling too. So now with drag queens doing story time and letting miners be there and dancing provocatively in front of them and actress Charlize Theron who has a trans child was even promoting drag queens and saying in a video that if anyone messing with the drag queens she will ef them up. Back then calling hospitals. Calling police station. Seeing if there was an accident. When it turned out all he was doing was cheating cheating and more cheating. I look back now, and I don’t even know how I survived what he put me through. I think God I had the strength to get out. My kids were four and six when I finally divorced him. It was the best thing I ever did. I met a wonderful man who adopted my children. And raise them as his own. a wonderful, father and husband. Then he cheated. There was not even a second thought. Nobody wants to think about crimes against children, so they are often in denial. People need to wake up and start talking about this! Courts humanize the perpetrator and not the victim. Even in prison, criminals don't tolerate people who have committed crimes against women & children, how do inmates in prison have a better moral compass than the people in charge of holding the p*dos & r*pists accountable... clearly s*xualizing children is a much bigger problem than people realize. I am one of many women who had a husband or boyfriend who would try to talk you into group sex. Then I find out his incestuous family history is real even though my denial did not want me to see it was true. Then there's the forcing himself on me while he screams for his cousin to hold me down. His cousin screamed back let her go can't you see she's not into this. That was over thirty years ago and it was Thanksgiving Day. Every Thanksgiving I would flash back to this thing that happened. The man was just pure evil and I kept waiting for the man I fell in love with to return. Naturally he would never return because he never really existed. Years later I learned the terms narcissist, sociopath and psychopath. He found a new victim who became his second ex wife. He has beaten me unconscious, chased me with butcher knives and steak knives. And always acted like everything was my fault. Miracle I lived through that and actually made a friend with the second ex-wife.

I’ve only just started so not heard the story yet, I started dating my daughers dad at 17, despite knowing him since I was a child and witnessing him abusing ex girlfriends, my home life was shocking, so getting into a bad relationship was inevitable, I stayed with him despite years of abuse, finding he had tried to kill me with an overdose, him telling me I’m going to die if I pass out after a beating and finding him trying to smother our daughter. Honestly even putting this down into words I feel ridiculous, but because of the abuse none of it had the same impact to me then!! Even after we spilt up I pushed for him to have a relationship with our daughter, thankfully he didn’t but being in that abusive relationship changes your view of the world! It’s so difficult to explain, now 20 yrs later I wouldn’t put up with any of it!! ❤

It’s easy to say that from an armchair. With all due respect.
As a survivor of child sexual abuse, I have been an advocate for children since I was abused. I fought for myself at age 5 and haven’t stopped since. I also try to educate people.
There are exceptions but typically there is a grooming of the family at large. Pedophiles and child molesters are very good at what they do. They are better at interpreting body language than a body language expert.
As adults we must be diligent about our children and as a parent we have the responsibility of guarding them against predators. I am all in on personal responsibility. Which includes letting the offender own their actions.
The legal system needs to change. As a human being, you have the responsibility to at a minimum speak out against the laws that need to be changed.
My solution to pedophiles and child molesters is an island of no return. They can put the island in a Louisiana swamp land guarded by drones. If they try to get off? Drones take them out. Gators eat the rest. They will learn to like to eat gator because they would provide their own food. If they can’t manage to grow their food? They’ll do without. It’s hugely money saving. Society will be safer. I guarantee there will be some predators who will not offend because my law would say “one and done”.
I said all that because I’m very serious. We need solutions.
PS if their is a death involved with a molestation? Death penalty. One appeal. Upon resolution of the one appeal? The sentence would be carried out. That day. The end.
Join me in advocating for children!

The isolation, and disbelief of the mother's testimony allows the revictimisation of both the non offending parent and the children. It is a sick, sordid nightmare that is allowed to go on for far too long because those people who are mandated to protect children are either undermined by the system or are ignored. Andrew...I just finished watching this interview. I admire the way you have of giving your guests the floor. You do not flood them with questions but rather you provide them with a safe space to tell their story in whatever means they need. More often than not people who have such horrific, sad stories to tell need to be heard before too many questions might change the flow of their thoughts. I am a teacher of young children and we are taught to allow [them] to get lost in their play/activity. If we jump in and begin asking too many questions or give too many prompts the course of their creativity and therefore their play changes. This is all a very important pre-curser to their learning. I'm not comparing this to what Amanda and her children have gone through, and will continue to go through; I'm using it as a way to explain a process. You ask questions as they arise and are timed well to the stage of the story. I think this provides a source of comfort to your guests. It fosters trust between you and them. I feel stories such as this are important for the public to hear. We need to know about the struggles others' are going through for several reasons. It opens our minds to the fact that no one is immune to such unfair treatment. It helps us to become more understanding and sympathetic people. It allows for true empathy from others' who have experienced such life changing events and this might open up conversation amongst them that can lead to healing. Life is so complex and not always beautiful but some people will find their own deserved beauty after being tested. These tests come in many forms. Thank you so much for providing Amanda the time and space to tell us her story. She is a very strong, courageous woman and mother and I wish all the best for her and her children.

What a profound, sad, disturbing story. I can so relate on certain levels. My ex was imprisoned (thankfully AFTER our blessed divorce) for child porn. He was pretty well known in the comic book industry…went by Justiniano…and was fired from DC Comics, and I felt completely betrayed and abandoned by the court system, as I applied for, and was denied, a restraining order to keep my beautiful, special needs kids away from him, and a female judge denied it. I was devastated, but in time, things went a bit better for the kids and myself. But it taught me more about the so called joke that is the ‘justice system’.

He tricked you into a relationship and of course said yes to the marriage and kids because you were all the perfect cover for his nefarious deeds. I can 100% understand how you both became closer in that period of time after the arrest because you would’ve had so much guilt and shame at his charges and of course believing him to be innocent, that you had no where else to turn but him. I don’t know if you will read the comments, but I was just curious about your parents? Or were they overprotective of you?
Sounds like the psychic put you on the right path. There are some good ones, like my mum.
