I love your wheel of fortunes!! I bet it’s the paper in the Kawaii Tarot book. For so,e reason, Lulu Mayo’s paper is always problematic. It kinda doesn’t like water…and many pencils. I’ve heard prismas work. I started using acrylic paint and gouache. Less water and more pigment. But I haven’t found anything else that works well. And I say Kawaii just like you do. Heck I don’t even say “Tarot” the same way twice 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Some people just like to complain ❤
It’s really strange paper in the Tarot book I think, and I do like the style of illustration but I just don’t know what to do with it sometimes 🤣 ….thanks for watching, I appreciate it very much ❤️
My faves are the Gemini and the Luna pages but all you showed was fantastic!

"concerned about only doing 18 pages".. I did 3-1/2 pages lol... and one was thrown in the trash which is something I usually don't do, but it was completely destroyed with water damage. One was inktense/pencil (Hampsons Forest book), one was prisma alone (Ivy and the Inky Butterfly), the half done is alcohol marker/pencil (The newest Mythographics title page), and the tosser was watercolor pencil alone (also Hampsons Forest book). I did also resort/swatch my polys/albrechts (they are the same set essentially), museum aquarelles (by far the most frustrating color palette ever), supracolors, and mondeluz sets.. which took quite a bit of time.
😁 not concerned, but last month was a bumper month and I usually colour a page a day….I’ve certainly not been feeling that or had the time lately. Walking the dog at least an hour and a half most days has reduced colouring time (but all that exercise is supposed to be good for me, right?!) 😉
Great pages like always, I love your style. Been enjoying all your videos . So many this month you've spoiled us 😊 Also don't worry about your pronunciation of 'kawaii' I'm sure it is said like Hawaii, I've watched a lot of anime and it is said so much 👍
