Such a cool idea, it actually appears with cloth you have more control of the watercolours than on paper.
Really helpful video! I’ve seen people do watercolour embroidery, but I didn’t know how you would go about it and after seeing this video I feel like I can try it myself!
I tried to do this and the colors were too intense. Thanks to your video I now know the right way to do this. This is exactly what I was looking for.
So glad it helped!
I would really love to see the next video on this project! I’m unable to find this. I have subscribed . Very inspirational thank you!
Hey there, thank you! This class used to be on Skillshare but it’s since been closed. However I plan to either make a new one or do another video tutorial here! Sorry for the inconvenience!
UM this is amazing, thank you for the video!!! Love it!!!
Really good idea and very hopefull 💙🌸 thank u!!
Great tutorial! Looks lovely 😊💕
Thanks so much!
Hi there, did you make a video on how to transfer the design onto the fabric after you painted it?
Ingrid Lotter I have a class on Skillshare that goes through all of the different steps on how to make the embroidery linked in the description! This is just a part of the class 😊
oh look at us looking at the same video
What kind of fabric are you using? I feel like different kinds of fabric would accept the water color differently
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing
Auntie Ayla you’re welcome! And thank you!
I can’t find the video that follows this. Please help 🙏🏾
did u use water color or acrylic color ?!
So wetting the fabric helps the watercolor paint to not bleed?
Just straight up watercolor on fabric otherwise? Nothing to prep the fabric or added to the paint?
Where is part two? How do you apply a design once it’s painted?
Can we watercolor after doing the stencil?
Is there a way to seal it Incase it got wet?
What kind of fabric did you use?
Which cloth are u using ??
hello!
what type of fabric are you using for this? 😊
Giselle Vargas hi there! It’s a cotton canvas fabric :)
Is it stain?
I love it, which paint did you use please
Beautiful❤……
but mine keeps spreading…please tell me why..😭
It may be that you are using too much water!
Great vid
Ribbroidery thank you!
this cloth name pls
So cool!!! So, I'm assuming this can only be done with fabrics you wont wash or get wet?
Thanks! Yes just wall art and things that won’t get wet.
@@crewelghoul thanks for replying!!
Or you use watercolor fabric paint. I have those from Marubu (textile aquarelle). It will stay after ironing.
Hi. What is the fabric?
What when we want to wash the fabric? It will all go away?!
If you’re going to use watercolor on the fabric then I make sure the stencil is faint enough that it won’t show through the design since you can’t wash it!
What's the fabric's name?
Which fabric is it exactly please
Aanvivaan the star kids cotton canvas
What fabric are you using?
Illustrated By Tara cotton canvas!
I saw in another comment that you said you used cotton canvas material. Would this method work on cotton broadcloth though?
Tammi Harman I’m not sure, I’ve never used it!
what type of paint are you using?
Dana Saucedo watercolor!
@@crewelghoul thanks! I figured it was some other type of paint with a watercolor effect. So it would last longer. Or not come off in the wash.
Dana Saucedo no, this is just for wall art that you wouldn’t be washing! I’d be interested if there was a paint similar to watercolor that was durable/ washable though!
@@crewelghoul good to know that! I would also like to know
