Hail of critical size for Poland fell in Wolbrom! 1000 houses and cars destroyed!
On Monday, July 8, a severe hailstorm struck Wolbrom, Poland, causing widespread destruction and chaos.
Residents are grappling with shattered windows, damaged roofs, and flooded streets, as emergency services scramble to assist those affected.
The storm brought ice balls several centimeters in diameter, transforming the streets into a winter-like scene in the middle of July.
In Wolbrom, the hailstorm caused significant damage to infrastructure, homes, and farms, with two manufacturing plants having their roofs torn off.
Roads were destroyed, and small rivers flowed through the streets, reaching up to the hoods of cars.
The Fire Department has responded to over 40 emergencies, with the community in shock and the long-term consequences still being assessed.
