Im 55 i left the church at 12. Past 2 weeks struggling with coming back. No struggle anymore. This is a sign . Jesus wants me back home . I need to be with you all to fight this evil! Im a miserable sinner but i will not side with satan! Update... I have for the past 3 weeks been trying to find a church tlm or N.O. I sent emails explaining my situation. Not a single church has reached back to me. I was seeking counciling and advice on coming back. I now remember why I left the Church. I'm not a serial killer or something heinous that I shouldn't be allowed back. Then I remembered the event that lead to me leaving the church. When I was 12 a priest at the church I attended threw a homeless man from service. The man did nothing but sit in silence and watch. That's what I remember of this "church". I thank you all for your kind words. But I will go back to the World that at least is honest...brutal but honest. When I face the Lord.... I will tell him... "I knocked at the doors of your church , no one answered" I bid you all peace and health.
The angels in heaven rejoice for you coming back. I just know that the Lord is as delighted in your return as the father in the story of the prodigal son!
We are all of us miserable sinners. I recommend praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Rosary every day…these two practices were so powerful in my return to Holy Mother Church. Schedule a general confession at your local parish, bare your soul before the Lord, and receive Him in the Eucharist. You will never be the same! This is what Christ came to dwell among us for. Place your trust in Him and Our Lady!

The cloistered convent near me prays for president Trump often . After their Sunday morning mass you can hear them after mass praying specifically for him by his name for a good 10 minutes each time.
So, you're saying God intervened and protected Trump and killed 1 and possible 2 innocents? Uhh Jesus Literally said God is that of the living and not the Dead. And He would NEVER sacrifice ONE LIFE for anyone. Literally the whole point of Our Lord Sacrifice.
I went outside to calm down after this happened this afternoon and my neighbor came by and was assuming I would agree with her when she said she wished he didn’t survive, putting it mildly. I was horrified. I told her I’m a Trump supporter and she was shocked. We talked briefly and as she was leaving I said, “Well I hope you still love me because I still love you.” I’m still shaken up because I wasn’t looking to fight about politics and then to hear how she believes all kinds of lies. Now I want to move. We’re going to need to pray for heroic virtue and courage. God protect us!
My two uncles and aunt were 25ft away from the first shot. By the grace of Jesus they were saved. We found out 20 mins after the shooting began, I rushed out of my house, went to tell three family members whose phones were not on and headed to the Blessed Sacrament to pray an emergency rosary for the president, my family and our country and for peace in Palestine and Ukraine. Thank God Saint Vincent Basilica was open because my main parish was locked.

He talks like he was so brave yet he watered down his Catholicism to appeal a wider demographic by not doing the sign of cross at the rally and being addressed as "pastor" not father. And then he immediately goes on a podcast to get attention and pats on the back. His prayers certainly helped but many faithful Christians have been praying for Trump’s protection for many years. As a Catholic, I sure have been along with many of my fellow Catholics and Protestant brothers and sisters in Christ. We talked briefly and as she was leaving I said, “Well I hope you still love me because I still love you.” I’m still shaken up because I wasn’t looking to fight about politics and then to hear how she believes all kinds of lies. My two uncles and aunt were 25ft away from the first shot. By the grace of Jesus they were saved. We found out 20 mins after the shooting began, I rushed out of my house, went to tell three family members whose phones were not on and headed to the Blessed Sacrament to pray an emergency rosary for the president, my family and our country and for peace in Palestine and Ukraine. Thank God Saint Vincent Basilica was open because my main parish was locked.

He talks like he was so brave yet he watered down his Catholicism to appeal a wider demographic by not doing the sign of cross at the rally and being addressed as "pastor" not father. And then he immediately goes on a podcast to get attention and pats on the back. His prayers certainly helped but many faithful Christians have been praying for Trump’s protection for many years.
