What a great journey! You went to different places and combined between popular places and other spots that are not touristic.
But you missed other places or just passed by them.
In your next visit I suggest seeing the northern west, where there are the glorious Khemir mountains all over the roads in the region, it's another Tunisia with green scenery. I suggest seeing Tabarka, Ain Draham and Dougga (there's a roman amphitheatre there). The best time for the northern west is March/April but I think May can be good too.
Now back to Eastern north, in Zaghouan there's the Water Temple, it's a very beautiful place under the mountains.
In Zaghouan there's also a small charming Old Medina, I recommend tasting the famous "Kaak Warka", a delicious pastry made with almonds paste and flavoured with Nesri, a distilled water from a flower of the same name that grows in Zaghouan.
And as I told you in another video, don't forget to go to the following places in Tozeur : Ong Jmal where there's the amazing Star Wars location for Mos Espa, Chebika which is a stunning oasis under the mountains and finally Tamaghza and the beautiful waterfall (I hope there would be water flow at the time of your visit, I went there last year in March and it was right after days of raining and the waterfall was full). For these three places I recommend going with a local 4x4 driver to make it all in one day as the roads are not that easy.
Also I saw that in your videos you passed by Kebili and Douz, both really shine between November and January, there's a Dates festival in Kebili which usually happens in December but this year is going to be in February, and the Sahara Festival in Douz occurs in December. Amazing atmosphere of oasis, sahara and dates with music, camels, horses and a lot of stuff. Kebili produces the best Dates in Tunisia (which means the best Dates in the world), it's called Degla, one of more than 200 types of dates.
If you're coming in the summer, I suggest keeping Kebili and Douz to another visit in December; as it is very very very hot in summer.
Tunisia has everything that you can see in one country : desert, sea, mountains, history, modern, roman, islamic, amazigh, night life, simple rural life, poor, rich, green, yellow, blue, etc .....

100 percent will try and do all of this! Thank you for the suggestion. I feel like that month was a great introduction to the country. Now I can come back and stay longer in some places and fully experience the country, culture, food, etc. I was thinking 2 months next time but I do have the option to stay up until 3 months. So maybe I stay 3 months. Who knows! I'm just excited to come back with the knowledge I have for an even better journey thru the country. Plus I made a ton of new friends there that I would love to meet back up with as well as meet new friends. Tunisia is a fantastic country and I love it so much!

As for Chenini and Douz, it's not dangerous at all. At least from my experience and I doubt the other two are either but I haven't been to them. Will you have a car? If so, I'd recommend visiting Ksar Ouled Soltane. If I remember correctly, there's no public transportation that can get you there but well worth the visit if you can.
