Yes you absolutely can❤️!! Lots of dye-free toys (preferably made of safe wood/grass), fresh fruits and veggies, spray millet, mist/plate baths, loads of attention, a place to fly to and fro whenever they like, and a safe home without larger predator animals like cats/dogs- they'll be pretty happy! Everyone's life is much sunnier with a budgie for sure :) they're little happy balls of sunshine encapsulated into soft, warm little bodies.
YT recommended me here and I am living for this! I adore animal videos, and although I know little-to-none about birds, I can truly feel the trust and love here. Also, it was satisfying to watch this lil cutie. So calm! I have no doubt the preening felt wonderful.
Satisfying to watch and probably even more satisfying for that budgie. My cockatiel lets me roll his pin feathers through my fingertips but my budgie isn't so keen to be touched very often so I can't imagine he would let me get close to him with a tweezers. The only thing I'd caution people who might want to try this is that you have to be careful because when the pin feathers first come in a lot of them are blood feathers and it can be dangerous to break a blood feather.
Absolutely! Thank you for bringing this up❤️. I would also caution those to avoid any pink looking Pinfeathers, as those are still developing, and filled with nerve endings...thus are sensitive to even a slight touch.

I am so, so sorry to hear that😢 I have had that happen to me as well. You never get over a loss. It is not your fault. Keeping a bird unclipped is what makes them happy because they can fly off whenever they want. It's also good exercise. Hugs to you and my greatest condolences.
@@stephencrook6277 I should have clarified: I don't bring my birds outdoors unless they are on a bird harness, or in a carry cage with the doors clipped with clothespins. My birds were lost one day when I was attending university. A family member decided to take my birds outdoors, but they left the cage door wide open and all my budgies got out. Thank you so much for watching! I'm hoping to do a video soon about training your budgies not to be afraid of tweezers. For shy birds, I recommend spending as much time with them every day if you can, and move your hand slowly toward them with the tweezers. If they panic, just stay still and don't move, until they calm down. Once they do, move slowly toward them again. Keep the tweezers sharp end inside your hand at first so they don't accidentally hurt themselves! Especially let them bite the tweezers and explore it. Keep at it! Birds are smart!
They love this, its ultimate bonding with your bird. You cant see its eyes because its purposely opening its feathers, when you do this their feathers grow beautifully. I do it with my nails, so fluffy.

Aaww thank you so much!! I'm so glad you like it☺️
I wish I would have known about this before 😩 I nurture my pets and I definitely will spend hours pampering my budgies like this 💕
Be careful
It's never too late to start! I recommend seeing if they let you touch them with your fingers first - it feels so good to feel their little warmth and softness.
Além de fofinho ele é muito obediente.
❤️❤️❤️
Спокойный, послушный малышарик-красавец!
Ему выдёргивают молодые перья. Когда они растут чешется,поэтому послушный и привык к данной процедуре.
That's actually a female but I see why your confused
The mother of all head scritches! This looks like it felt soooo good for your little Buddy!
Wow. I've never seen a budgie so calm and trusting of a human like this! I've just about always had more than one at a time, so I imagine that's why mine never had this kind of issue. Always cute to see them preen each other.
Yea!! Single budgies tend to be calmer towards people than budgies in a flock.
My girl lives with a flock of 5 others so it's just her personality :)
I love these little guys so much. I hope one day I can give a couple of them a happy life.
I am so happy that you're here!! Welcome❤️ glad you feel satisfied 😊 come by anytime for a chat and more pinfeathers!
@@pinfeathersgalore your video is great! ❤ 🐦
This is some solid ASMR material. Your preening leaves me feeling vicariously satisfied.
Thank you so much! I'm so happy it satisfies you!
Weirdo
She is enjoying the crap outta that ❤️
Satisfying to watch and probably even more satisfying for that budgie.
Dude, you almost have a MILLION VIEWS on this video. I told you CZcams was a good idea!
It was YOU!❤️❤️❤️ This channel is because of you! If you didn't suggest asking me to go on CZcams, I never would have and would have been anonymous forever, just happily scratching pinfeathers in my dark little corner forever. But because of you, many people also get to enjoy this, and for that, I thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, thank you thank you. I never realized there'd be so many pinners out there❤️❤️❤️!!
Not sure if he was grooming him or scratching him but the little birdie is so pretty and adorable so I watched it anyway,,,
I wanted to see his little face, maybe next time....😊
Dude, nice call
I found it a bit gross 🤢
If this bird had a mate the mate would be doing this very same thing
How precious. The parakeet obviously is loving this. You are doing what birds do so lovingly for each other.
Thank you so much for watching!!
Absolutely adorable 🥰
Somebody is definitely enjoying this :D
This cutie thrust you at 100% 🥰
What a great lil bird! So happy to be cared for!
She is the best bird for sure❤️❤️❤️❤️
What an adorable little budgie 🤗
love the way she bows her head
-now that’s precious🦜💗
Thank you!!
The pure bliss this lil bird is in 🥰
No, it isn't
She did enjoy it quite a bit :)
@@pinfeathersgalore NO. SHE DIDN'T
What a cutie
A beautiful and very well treated budgie.
The eay he leans his head forward to let you get in to those neck feathers. Trust.
I love how calm this bird is. I miss mine so much every day. He flew away because I just could not bring myself to have his flight taken away😢
My birds were never recovered; my neighbourhood is teeming with cats that were very good at killing the hummingbirds and other birds in my yard and around the neighborhood. I was absolutely devastated.
This gives me such joy to watch, I used to have a male budgie name Chewy but I unfortunately had to give him away after having my daughter… he used to let me massage all around his head and face when he was molting and he got fluffy exactly like this!! I never knew about taking the white parts off but me rubbing them seemed to give him some kind of relief 🥰Brings back such good memories, thank you
Thank you so much, and thank you for the sweet story about Chewy. Such good fluff memories ❤️ while it's sad you had to part ways, you love and cared for Chewy so that he would fit the best home. Thanks for looking out for him!
@@pinfeathersgalore he was my best friend and I wanted to make sure he had a good home even if it wasn’t with me anymore 🥺❤️
@@jaaade03 you are such a a good birb parront🥺❤️
So adorable! I never knew about this... I love learning something new everyday😊
Thank you for watching!❤️❤️❤️
My parrot would bite the hecc out of the tweezers, what a good bond you two must have!❤️
Good job. I missed our buggie. He was part of our family. Very unique and different look, light blue grayish and gray eyes.
Sorry, one of my budgies died 1 month ago
He seems to enjoy it. I like the fluffy face
Thank you very much❤️
Ne güzel. Kuşuyla ne guzel bir güven ortami olusturmuş. Sahibi tuylerin kabuklarini temizliyor sevimli kuş da tuylerini kabartarak sahibinin isini kolaylastiriyor. Bayildim izlerken ❤❤
Oh that bird looks so happy at being preened!! ❤️
This is very satisfying and I love how happy this bird is to be getting preened by you!
Aww thank you so much!!
My birds love this. Even my chickens don’t mind 😊
I’ve never found myself so quiet and focused while watching a video 🤣
Me too! I totally got lost in it.
And when it ended, I felt like I just woke up from a nice nap lol!!❤
@@strashinsky Lol!! Awesome!
Hahhaah I LOVE IT!! So glad you guys had this reaction:D!!!
Oh my goodness! How stinkin adorable is he or she! He was just sitting there really enjoying himself! The way he put his head down for more, because it was so comfortable! Just the sweetest ❤❤
Aaaww thank you so much for the kind words❤️ I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Elly says hi💚
Huh…..you learn something new everyday 😃💜
What a cute little soul 🐦
Thank you❤️❤️
I made this for my Red-crested Moluccan Cockatoo. He loved it, sat very still and nibbled softly to himself. He then did the same to a strand of my hair.
Greetings from Lorraine(border 🇫🇷 🇩🇪) ❤️
Hello!! Welcome!! Greetings from Caabda. So happy you're here.
You're lucky to have a moluccan cockatoo! They're absolutely regal and intelligent. So cute that he preened you too. Sounds like you have a great bond together❤️
@@pinfeathersgalore Yes, we were very connected. Years ago I gave him to a man, who has a group of several cockatoos. He also has a flight hall with an outdoor area in his garden. No amount of attention could replace that. My heart was heavy, but full of love for him. I never wanted to see him again. He's doing well now, after 20 years- we talk on phone sometimes. Warm Greetings to you, and kisses for your sweet budgies from a purring gang mom of ten cats. Life changes.....❤️ 🐾 🌻
@@pinfeathersgalore Where is Caabda? I asked Google and got no answer...😂🤔
he looks so chill with it what a cool bird
Ash he’s sooooo cute fluffing up like that and he seems to be really enjoying the care your giving him. He felt vary stimulated I’m sure, and the tweezers were a great idea 😊
This bird looks like they are having a Spa day….so chill! What a cutie.
What a happy bird. I've never seen one so happily preened by tweezers before.
Thank you! I've looked everywhere and haven't found anyone else who does it this way, either!
Lol. He looks like he's in heaven
'Heck yea human is getting the hand beak! Time for wellness!'
Hahaha hand beak! 😄
Good bonding session. Me and my budgie have a close bond, sharing food etc getting up close and chatting but he just doesn't trust my hands or touching sadly.
This is great!! Keep slowly at it - consistent interaction is key :) eventually he will get used to you more and more. Birds are extremely smart! They know.
I wish that my birds would let me use tweezers like you do on them. They freak out if I come near them with anything other than my hands. Your little budgie looks so happy! Thank you for this video!
Ahhhh que fofo...ele fica quietinho 😍
They love this, its ultimate bonding with your bird. You cant see its eyes because its purposely opening its feathers, when you do this their feathers grow beautifully. I do it with my nails, so fluffy.
You did a great job.
Thank you very much❤️
i find these videos so satisfying! please could we have more cockatiel ones?
BUT OF COURSE!!!!!!!! OF COURSE :D
Omg, that must feel amazing!!!
She s so cute😂😊
