Everyone fell in love with Eugene Schwartz. It sucked majorly when House figured out WHY he kept thinking pancreatic cancer. Eugene was devastated and so was everyone watching. It was one of the most human moments we saw House perform, he seemed to actually care about and feel bad for Eugene...or maybe he was simply disturbed because he realized he'd been hallucinating.
It's because Eugene was one of House' perfect patients. He went to describe his symptoms in the best way he could, followed all medical advice to the letter no matter how ridiculous, had a strange presentation of symptoms, knew that something wasn't right and went to find help before it was far too late. A small puzzle that required some out of the box thinking mixed with a little light trolling. It's up there with the guy who broke his finger.
I think it was both genuine sympathy for Eugene AND concern for his own mind. At that point he didn't realize yet that he had been hallucinating but he started realizing something was wrong with his brain.
It's not sympathy it's guilt. House initially didn't take him seriously and used him to annoy Cuddy when, in fact, his problem was very serious and he should have immediately given Eugene his full attention. If House does everything in his power to save a patient and it fails because the diagnostic was too late or there's no cure, oh well. It's not really gonna bother him cause can't save everyone. But he can't accept being outright responsible for someone's death. That's why Amber and Kutner's death made him go crazy with guilt even though they were also not really his fault but House didn't see it that way.

Eugene Schwartz will always be my favourite. His arc broke my heart in the end.

It's crazy how the camera is slightly unstable, showing House's degrading mental state. The depth of the filming in these episodes is truly creepy and incredible

Cuddy never drank her coffee with House in the room. If any love chemical excretions were found in the coffee by House, oxytocin, then they most likely came to be when Wilson was in the room. The episode kinda contradicts itself that Cuddy was in love with Wilson and not House.

Pancreatic cancer
Vomiting is never good until you unless you ate food die and then vomited it unless it was red food dye some people eat red stuff and then puke and then it’s red and then I’m like freak out that was a serious serious like I like I don’t he just got up and said why don’t you stay at a red popsicle and five dozen strawberries another doing medical procedure and they usually wait for you to be 24 hours without eating OK yeah that makes sense
