- We are just about one month away from the Bitcoin halving which means we are equally as long away from the Runes protocol deployment. Runes will likely manifest into the largest market in the Bitcoin ecosystem, there are plenty of market data points to suggest this in its pre-launch phase. If this is to come true and Rune token projects facilitate the next multiple billion dollars of liquidity injection into the crypto market, what is the actual outcome to all of this?
With more inevitable casino activity with meme coin launches attracting tons of speculation, will we see a new generation of developers enter the space to contribute to constructing much-needed infrastructure to expand the capabilities of these tokens? If so, will this lead to a bigger token economy than what we saw on Ethereum? Also, if this is to all happen on Bitcoin, what will this imply for future regulatory concerns? Casey Rodarmor believes the SEC will likely have to step in due to an influx of unregistered token offerings emerging from Runes, we agree.

I missed out on Runes, had two Bitmaps on my Native Segwit and one on my taproot, both on my UniSat Wallet. When I minted these things I honestly didn't know what I was doing. I'm even too scared to transfer them or do anything. Your content has helped a lot, keep learning new stuff every day. One day I'll get this right :)

I have a question, if i hold my stones in a x verse wallet how do i receive my runes token airdrop? Or do i need it to be a unisat wallet?
i got dropped a runestone - sold after about a day. I don't get how these ordinal NFTs link to the runes tickers? Also it looks like lots of the runes tickers are locked for 3-4 years (including for things like "PEPE" and "Runes"... weird. But I also floored an RSIC at launch... silly me..

Guys, I thought of this as the regulators approved the ETF's the fact that they did approve it after ordinals had occurred is laughable. The millions they spent on all this. Their insights were so in depth, so well done and so worrying as an investor. As for the influencers that had no idea all along and still don't bring it up. I'm cracking up on the inside just writing it.

Apple Watch Ultra. I honestly do need not recommend it. I don’t really think it’s all that useful. But it is cool. Maybe my expectations were too high. I don’t really know.
The cool thing about runes is unlimited supply on the bitcoin network. Instead of gambling with limited and expensive sats, runes can be ported to L2s like Liquid or even Eth. Just speculating here, but runes could be the gas to bitcoin gold. That been said, I think only one or two rune miners will become anything more than pumps and dumps. Runestone might be one but I'm late, hoping for the floor to crash.

I like the default mining /staking mechanism in that you could run a game so easy it empties every block. This can't really be replicated with L1 solana nor ether, it's a mission for a cheap L2 protocol and it's amazing to see this born in bitcoin.

One huge difference between Runes and Ordinals I see is that runes have unique names, and like internet domain names there will be a frenzy for grabbing the best names. Watch out for Bitcoin transaction fees skyrocketing at the halving!

I've sold all my 4 runestones and 5 RSIC metaprotocols airdrops. I think the fact that they are trying to shard to build up hype around runes without showing any merit or plans on how it can be better thane existing BRC-20 and TAP protocols seem lame to me. Almost feels like Casey wants to control Ordinals space, and the fact that BRC-20 and other protocols proliferated without him being in the drivers seat gave him the motivation to launch runes. I don't think it will replace BRC-20 and TAP anytime soon, depends on how they execute and how much dev. attention they attract. I just don't see anything unique or special about runes, not the same magnitude as DMT, not even close.
