Where Did Starehe Boys Go Wrong?

Still on matters education, one of the striking features of the KCSE results unveiled by education minister Prof Sam Ongeri was the apparent significant drop in performance by Starehe Boys centre and school. The results for the first saw Starehe dropout of the top ten schools nationally with its top student being ranked 58 out of the top hundred countrywide, something that even the school administration acknowledges was unimaginable. It's a situation that has left many in the education sector questioning just what might have gone wrong at the institution that has been synonymous with academic excellence over the years.
