She was feeling sick that day and her voice wasn't at 100%. That's how talented and professional Pau is. All three of them are.
The second song is Breathe. The record company wanted another song for the album. Pau wrote this song about a friend who committed suicide. She agreed to give them the song if she NEVER had to perform it. That was written into the record contract. She recorded the song at home on their slightly out of tune piano, not at a studio. During their album release concert (2022 Teatro Metropolitan) they played the recorded song during the intermission with no one on stage. So this may be the only live performance of Breathe ever.
The 3 of them classically trained pianists, Pau has said in a Spanish interview that piano is her favorite instrument. The second song “Breathe” is a very personal song for her, she said that she wouldn’t sing it live. She did it for this special occasion and as you saw, she couldn’t finish it. I think that song is about a friend who passed away. She was really sick during that show and still was able to sing that beautifully.
Not bad for being the drummer and she was getting over being sick.This song is about addiction ,she wrote when she was 13 years old.She brings grown men to tears!!

Some context is needed for the second song called Breathe. This song was added last minute on the ERROR album, on the request of the label, which Pau quickly recorded on their home piano by herself. It is a very personal song for Pau, that she never intended to record, but for the good of the album, she did so, but she has said that she would never perform it live. When they sold out the Pepsi Center and she saw the 8000+ people there, she decided to thank them by performing this song once, hence why the crowd is so pumped about it and when they started singing along loudly, why she lost it.

Breathe touched my soul in a very profound way, and when she breaks down at the end, just makes me want to give her a big hug. She is so very special.
Pau ,before the second song Breathe is telling the audience why she is singing this song LIVE ,originally she did it as a bonus track on the LP with the agreement because it was so personal to her she would NEVER do it other than the studio version,but Pau says to the crowd she loves their support so much she is going to do the song afterall.

The words to Black Holes are devastating. If you’ve had an addict in your life, you know. This cemented my interest in The Warning. Like finding a unicorn in the woods. The lyrics are crazy. From teenagers and a child at the time.

I might be off base with this, only she can say for sure of course, but I think what broke her is that she never performs the song live... and yet the audience still knew the words and sang it along even when she was silent, so not only does it have all the personal meaning that the crowd mirrored to her but at that moment Paulina realized just how much their fanbase loves their songs. The bittersweet of it all just got her.
Think about it, the whole crowd know the words of a song that's never played in concert.

Well, she did sing it live here for their 10th anniversary concert and has never sung it again so far. This is the only time you will see her sing this song. She was also sick during this time as all three sisters were sick but they still performed. Incredible.

Pau has an alpha personality. I think Dany does too, but Pau has a much stronger tendency to take over conversations and take charge of whatever situation the three of them find themselves in. About the gender mix of their fandom, I think in the US and Canada there are a lot of guys in the crowd. And maybe that is because, as you say, Rock tends have a stronger representation of male artists and a male fanbase. That is certainly the case with people who are my age and grew up in the 60s and 70s. However, in Latin America there are a lot of female fans, especially the younger crowd and the very young as well, especially in Mexico. TW serve as great role models for young folks with musical aspirations, regardless of gender. In Europe, they proved they have a following of little boys. I guess there are a lot of people who see them as an example of what can become reality if you never give up on your dreams and stay true to your identity, focus, and aspirations.
A lot of us in TWA are proud uncles. The main problem with your seduction plan is that these young women need 3 husbands, not the reverse. LOL
