    Good video. Just a heads up, the SAAB Workshop Information System (WIS) also requires the use of Loctite 518 Flange Sealant on the inside of the new ABS ring prior to installation on the axle. Cheers.

    To reduce the amount of grinding, you could heat the reluctor ring (hot plate, torch) so it slides on easier. Thanks for the how-to - very informative, especially noting the hub nut is 32mm (not a socket in most shade tree mechanics tool boxes).

      Once the rust is fully cleaned off, yes. That would be the reason the old one cracked as the rust expanded the metal

      As a follow-up, pulling the hub off of the axle can be a real beast. Years of rust & corrosion makes removal *very* difficult unless you have an impact hammer. Just wanted to let you know what you may be facing.

      forgot to add, the shock absorber does not really need to be loosened/removed.
