On the 13 May 2024 I was privileged to fly the Rather Rare G-VYGK Airbus Airtanker A330-300 with Jet2 back from Tenerife to Manchester Airport. I was only able to fly this due to one of the other Jet2 Airtankers being in maintenance and this was almost a rescue aircraft.
The reason for the complete white livery, or "Polar Bear Scheme" is because Airtanker at Brize Norton have not had time to paint the Aircraft in the Fancy red Jet2 Icon stickers.
This Aircraft is now back at the R.A.F and G-VYGL is back at Manchester.

I’ve flown on this aircraft many times to the Falkland Islands 🇫🇰
This was one of the old Thomas cook A330 aircraft. Came into service with Air Tanker in 2016 and was built in 2014. Still looking fresh even being 10 years old

That’s definitely the Thomas Cook long haul seats just with a different seat cover.

Fascinating flight on a rare Air Tanker A330 not normally stationed at MAN and now back at Brize Norton for service to the RAF. Interesting unique cabin views. Stunning A330 wing views with engine start-up audio and ground spoiler action on landing. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute, as always with your excellent productions Sam.

It’s still on the Palma and Tenerife routes from Manchester I think. We’re flying MAN - TFS next Monday so looking like it’ll be this aircraft.

Yes this plane did have Thomas cook seats for many years when I flew on it, I flew it in January and it had these new grey covers, I prefer the old covers
I have been with airtanker for a long time and as a passenger any questions let me know

Bit weird but how tall r u so can get a rough idea has will be on this in august
5.10 or 5.11. Legroom is alright on these compared the Jet2's smaller Jet2s like 737/757

Was this last Sunday cos if it was we were at the RVP and watched this take off, my hubby said wonder if it’s operating for Jet2.

A330, but A321Neo for efficiency
Who the hell came up with the name Air Tanker lol....its as offputting as is humanely possible to potential customers looking to book ! Conjures up the image of air tankers refuelling fighters on long haul deployments !
I see your point, I don't think customers care when knowing its Jet2 with the branding like the other A330's. When it's all white like this one I can see the confusion
