Is this good for 4c hair? Like are the bristles strong enough to comb through 4c hair in the long run? Looking to purchase and I'm not sure😢.

I think it is but it takes getting use too and developing a good technique in stretching the hair. Which it’s the same with the girl who hair I did

Hey girl! Ummm.. I think they both are equal in quality. I would only suggest the mermaid if you have around bob length hair because the brush part is smaller then the revlon and will take longer to dry longer hair. However, the mermaid cost less and is more lightweight.

I sure did. It doesn’t fully smooth type 4 hair which is what she has. For you, you may be able to silk it out with just the dryer

My jait is 4b and it made my hair dead straight sometimes it depends on the health of your hair I use Olaplex and I wash my hair regularly my hair is strong and heat trained. Plus I don't oil my scalp or overload my hair with products

How much longer do you think it took to dry vs your Revlon dryer?

I feel like they have about the same dry time but that one is smaller so I used it for shorter hair so it takes maybe 15 minutes. Obviously it’ll be longer with longer hair

If you have short but thick hair it will still work. If your hair is past shoulder length you might want to use a larger barrel blow dry brush or a different dryer all together
