Excursion Overview:
Delight in the charming village of Sorrento, where you'll sample farm-fresh fare and learn about the process of producing mozzarella cheese. Then, ponder the power of nature at Pompeii, the ancient city buried in the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius.
What we did:
Drive to Sorrento, passing by Mt. Vesuvius, and visit a Lemon Garden to taste fresh mozzarella and salami.
Optionally, take a guided walking tour of Sorrento's historical center.
Explore the famed ancient city of Pompeii with a guided walking tour of its ruins.
Stop at a local cameo factory before returning to Naples.
Important Information:
Wheelchairs are not permitted, but the excursion is stroller accessible.
Dress appropriately for church visits and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Large bags, purses, and strollers are not allowed inside Pompeii excavations.

This was really nice to watch! Love that you keep it real and explain that you're sensitive to whether or not your children would need to cut the tour short, and also, that it's difficult to make historical walking tours fun and exciting for children. Hey guys. 2 videos today. This and R & R. Nice they gave the children coloring books and there’s a tray table. Cool 😎. Making mozzarella cheese. 😋😋😋. Fresh. Never packaged. Would love this. The finest meats and cheeses 🧀. 🍷 & 🥖. Oh good to know no bathroom on the bus. Wow. Whole bottles of wine left on tables 🫤. Olive 🫒 oil and lemon and melon liqueurs tastings. Jazz and Rich what an amazing get away all of you had going over to Rome, Italy and visiting Sorrento & Pompeii. My daughter flew to Rome, Italy last year in the fall with 2 friends and they went to 3 different cities. I know Sorrento was one of them for a weeks vacation. That food looked delicious you guys were eating. Rich was too funny when he noticed people left their wine in the bottle on the table. I know Reign and Royce enjoyed their time in Italy and I believe Disney Dream will be making a stop in Sorentini, Greece. You guys will meet up with guess in Mekonos, Greece. Happy Mother's Day. Long day, but so worth it! That pizza looked amazing, I bet it tasted incredible good. Not a huge pizza fan, but neopolitan pizza in Sorrento/Campania region is high on my list!!

This tour was 10 hours alone how long did you guys have total in Port? None of that 5 hours in port..

How are the streets? Would you say that they're stroller friendly?
Europe is not very stroller friendly in general, a lot of older stone streets. Just make sure the stroller had big wheels, that’s what I would recommend

Hi guys. I use a cane due to bad knees. In you opinion would this tour be too much for me .
I would not recommend the Pompeii portion since its not only a lot of walking but also a lot of uneven stone roads. I would recommend a tour that includes a Sorento day trip portion tho.
