Very informative, and an excellent mod! Thanks for sharing!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great vid Moose!
Thank you
Also there is an OGO nomad version for $200. 7 years ago about the only thing was the nature's head or build your own. Now there are lots of options a lot cheaper.
Yes, we have had a bit of progress for our bathroom needs
I have a Boxio loo too , and it’s great, though I do think the red cover cap should come with it rather than being an extra. Pet stores sell the hemp for pet bedding, so you don’t need to send for it. I also have the ‘Up’ base as well which makes it higher. It really is a good produce and better priced than any of the competitors.
Thanks for your thoughts
Thank you for your video and comments. It’s ingenious what you have done, though unfortunately wouldn’t work in my tiny campervan as there isn’t room - and no toilet compartment either - mine just sits on the floor behind the front passenger seat, by the side sliding door. It was interesting to see how you managed to cut through the plastic. I know these are standard euro boxes, and it’s given me an idea. The box that raises the Boxio up - they call it the ‘up’ box I think - clips on the bottom and is another euro box, albeit lower in height than the euro box the diverter is in. It gives some useful storage. (Again I think the clips should come with it - they are £10 for 6, but I was quoted £42 carriage direct from Boxio in Germany to here in England!. I was lucky to find them on Amazon UK, for the same price , and got them with free shipping because of the deal I have with Amazon). The little clips, as you know, clip the two boxes together. The trouble is once clipped in place it’s a pain to access the lower box contents without disassembling it - something I wouldn’t want to do unless the urine bottle was empty. I’m now wondering if it would be possible to cut a hole in the up box front side, and make some easier access, or possibly, for example, even making a little drawer for it?
I was also interested in how you have screwed yours down. It’s really helpful to see that. Again I can’t do that with mine as no space and no separate toilet compartment , but I’ve put it on a non slip mat from ikea - which is easy to wash - and so far the Boxio Hasnt moved, despite being loose in the back. What I also plan to do is cover the sides with a vinyl fabric on the main part so it looks better. For the smell issue I’m using a spray of a simple white vinegar and water mix to spray the diverter with after use which seems to work,. Of course most of the time it’s pretty cool weather here - be interesting to see if it still works when the weather gets hot (which tends not to be for long here in the UK!) . Thank you again for being so generous in sharing your excellent ideas - it’s really helpful.
@@bethzolin6046 you are welcome
Hi Moose! Seems simple and efficient.
It is
I drilled a hole in my stopper and tied a piece of rope to it so I could more easily find it. A replacement is$9. Kind of spendy for a stopper.
Speedy indeed
Nice update. I seen that there's a US made one for $200. It's Trobolo.
I will look that up
@@MooseHenderson1 Trobolo is also a Greman Brand witch often just copies Brands like Boxio etc.
🙏💙💫
Thanks
Pour that pee around your garden. Might keep deer and rabbit away.
Might help
