I started when I was young taking things apart to see how they work. Then as I got older I read articles, books, and just doing my own repairs. When I realized it all started to make since to me I started doing my own repairs to my home. I later went to school and took electrical courses. Plus it ended up being a requirement to get my degree in HVAC.
