i get inspired when i see people of colour in hvac
Impresive
How long cable ?
It's 35ft.
Zero-G hoses are a waste of $$. This cheap crap will spill water out from under the cheapo plastic collar. I just LOVE getting my shirt and pants wet whenever I use it. Cheap Chinese POS.
Where does the control wire at each room mounted unit go to? how does it know when to send coolant?
good review but i would do away with adding background music, it makes it harder for people to hear you talking.
Thank you for the feedback.
Thanks great video!
Hey Jeff!! It has been a long time. I just bought one of these of FB and was looking for a video and there you are!!! Hi!!!
Wow it has been a long time. It's good to hear from you. I am glad you found the video. My apologies for the delayed response I have to get better in checking my comments.
This software monitoring need activation code ?
Can't see what your doing,
Good stuff man
I got these but haven’t used them because they don’t have that lever switch on the side but ima take your word for it
I have both the low loss fitting and the one with the shutoff valve. I like the low loss better especially for the high side because you don't lose anything. You don't have to worry about the refrigerant spitting back on you. Just try it once and let me know what you think.
I used to start those units up
What state are out of ?
NC
You forgot to turn off the power of electric water heater at the service panel
Tôi đang tìm hiểu về thiết bị này và video của bạn giúp tôi đưa ra quyết định 🎉
The box says there is a star 15 and a star 20. Where are those? Mine doesn’t have them either
Put the link for the connections you have on it
Very helpful, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
According to the National Electrical Code (NEC) ampacity tables, the minimum wire size for a 100 Amp circuit is: 3 AWG Copper. That 8 AWG wire is severely undersized and may overheat; and as such is a fire hazard. I believe they misunderstood the directions. Each breaker requires an 8 AWG wire since they are 40 Amp breakers. If they were wiring the hot water heater directly from the main service panel, 8 AWG wire would have been appropriate. However, they are using a subpanel which means it must safely carry the entire load of all three breakers. The breaker for the subpanel is under-sized for the application. The water heater is rated for 120 Amps and is being supplied by a 100 Amp breaker. This is much less of an issue than the wire size but should also be addressed. I hope they reconsider their installation and upgrade the devices to spec.
Thanks For The Advice 👍👍
Any time!
Thanks a lot... now i have an idea how to make a DIY machine
Glad I could help!
The story of my life - due to how I hang curtains that end up hanging half way out of the wall. This time, I do have one stud to work with. Thanks for your video and now I'll see if I do a good job or make another big hold in my wall. 😅 Enoy you day!
It’s great you had at least 1 stud. So how did it work out?
Great review bud. Just purchased one and can't wait to put my hands on it !
Good choice!
Good video I just bought tools
Nice 👍
Appreciate you.
Thank you!
What size is that wrench for the acetylene tank
That's a 26kw water heater. That's 13kw per leg. That's 2/3 the power of the whole house of that's even a 200 amp service.
So with the unit running. You can press P1 and P2 to cycle between incoming and manifold pressure? To see 2 separate readings? Not differential pressure
Correct
Had to subscribe great content
I appreciate that! Thanks 👍🏾
Be carefull of refrigerant leaks in a confined space... make sure you have it monitored and ventilated.
Great job 👏
Thank you! 😃
Why are these boxes recessed? they should be flush to the drywall..
Whats the work life balance in controls? I know in HVAC and refrigeration it can be constant ...is there on call in controls or is it set hours
The work life balance in controls is much better than regular HVAC or Refrigeration. You still have on call service where you rotate. But many of the issues can be resolved from home on your laptop.
@@alittlebitofeverythinghome4333 Awesome thanks for the response. I'm in residential Hvac right now. How does someone lead up to getting into controls?
Thanks! Your video was helpful in making my decision to get one.
Great to hear!
The MC is smart as hell / I had to grab a dictionary
what no satisflying door bell ring at the end? I want my money back! hehe thanks gonna test mine tomorrow
No problem, I'll keep that in mind If I do it again! 😃
Nice! gotta change the battery on the smoke detector next
Thank you so much!! Great instructions, comprehensive, easy to understand and thorough.
Glad it was helpful!
Good tip regarding silicone with plastic plumbers putty with metal:) Good job!
Thank you! 👍🏾
Thank you sir, i actually was hired with no formal experience on a maintenance crew, my boss got me one of these since I don’t have one at the time. The whole crew was supportive and taught me a lot, I’ve been working for them now about 4-5 months and have grown a lot more confident working on my own. You mentioned briefly about the guy that didn’t work out who had never seen one of these before. I’d just like to say that any longhorns out there and you get a new guy on your team don’t be afraid to show em a thing or too and make ‘em feel welcome, they just might stay and surprise you. Always great video thanks fam!
Obviously u not a plumber u install this electric thankless without any safety u miss services valves and more important a safety relief. valve just in case system fail and cause a bad explosion 🥵
Tankless don't hold pressure above line pressure.
@@OneLeggedTarantula PRV is required even on a tankless.
9 and 10 are called Robertson (square drive) number 1 and 2. Number 2 square head is often used for breaker screws snd also removing the panel. In woodworking the square #2 (robertson) is used for pocket hole screws primarily and are also widely used in Canada in deck screws. That's Canadas version of the USAs T25 torx head deck screws used in the USA. I got this 11 in 1 as part of a 22 piece kit with toolbag at my work (Lowe's) on clearance for a hell of a deal. $15 for the whole toolkit.
Can you use them for cutting torches?
Yes you can you just need the correct tip. When I purchased mine years ago it came with it.
Due to the un-understandable regional dialect, do yourself a favor and turn on "closed captioning" (CC) before watching this video. Other than that, this gentleman seems to know what he is doing. 👍
God bless you it’s late night revising my profile I was fortunate to start in construction and now transitioning out of service work
YAH bless you too!
That's why they give you a lifetime warranty if you get a lemon take it back and they will give you one, I've used them for a long time no issues at all have one in both vans.. love the videos keep up the good work.
Thanks for the info that’s good to know. I should have returned them I ended up adjusting it.
I just got one but does this have sound to it? I can’t seem to get the sound working
to project sound buy a aux cable and speaker or bluetooth speaker that aux port. This model has headphone port
How much do do they charge for install of tankless water heater
It depends on the company that’s hard to say. I would get an estimate ate from at least 3 different companies.
Great video. I just started as a control system tech, but I feel I need to get a better understanding on how the mechanical side works as you mentioned in your other control video so I'm watching a lot of CZcams videos on BAS, AHU and VAV.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! If you aren't yet, no sweat. You will get the hang of things soon!
