If you're one of the lucky people to find a code in this video, have fun! This game is a blast and it's only going to get better.

Agh I found the one at 8:26 but it was taken 😞
The other one is at 15:25, but it’s already taken
@@HPOfficeJetProAll-In-One I found this one too, but steam had an update so I was too slow. Thanks steam.
Idk who started the reverse-a-move for these puzzle games, but I love them. Makes these kinds of games way less frustrating without removing any of the difficulty, that on top of a solid game is just a great time.
yeah absolutely a huge mecahnic for modern puzzlers like this
undo is underrated as hell
How is THIS TOP COMMENT AND A YEAR OLD AND HAS ONLY ONE COMMMMMEENTS
First time I saw it was in Baba is you, probably not the first but definitely popularized it.
@@milodiin Yeah one of the first I noticed it in too, was one of the reasons I got the game because starting over every time is too much for me haha
The next evolution of this is undo the level restart, there are probably other examples but I first saw it in can of wormholes
Puzzle games like these have really good level editor potentials.
Bro what if you push 2 of the level your in out of the level your in? 🤔
DOUBLEFINITY
@@happyepicboi6910 isn’t that like the whole game
@@sethobester9331 but its 2 not 1 :/
@@happyepicboi6910 Try it ;)

Those codes disappeared so fast lol. This game looks super sick though, can't wait to see more!
You saw one?
@@SIMULACRA37 I saw three within ten minutes of the video going live. They were all used up by the time I put them into Steam lol
I only saw the one in the text level
@@SIMULACRA37 there was one in the editors note and in the tips section over tylers face aswell
rip
This game is amazing. I'm endlessly surprised by how all the introduced gimmicks make WAY too much sense.
It might be because of a few psychological tricks so it intuitively snaps, idk
I can't help but wonder if there will eventually be levels where you have to intentionally cause a parabox in order to win.
I do wish pushing a box out of itself made an infinite line of the same box like you'd intuit would happen from looking at it, rather than arbitrarily stepping in and saying nah actually it just take you to bad room where you can sit and think about what you've done
The mechanics of having an infinite identical line of yourself and other boxes in a void would be really interesting mechanically
I remember seeing that in the demo & hoping it was just a case of something that was gonna be saved for the full game
I won't spoil how, but the late game levels absolutely do require intentionally causing paradoxes.
@@CalebKlomparens oh EXCELLENT
@@CalebKlomparens
i’m not very far into the game (i don’t think, anyway) but i’ve had thought of “is it possible to win while in a paradox”
that’s very good to know
@@acblook I think it's more like the infinity-box is a self-contained representation of infinitely recursed boxes, and the reason you exit the infinity box the way you do is that you're pushing the level *outside* of infinitely many boxes, so that you're paradoxically entering the layer *after* infinity
The biggest baba is you vibes, especially with that text based level. Hopefully this game provides the absolute trip that baba did with every turn. Games like these don’t come often..
I'm on world 16, and can definitely confirm it's just as much of a trip as baba is you, if not more. It's not nearly as meta, but it trips I'm its own way
@@CalebTerryRED da hell? how many level recursions are there
This game totally broke my brain at first, so I’m thankful the first levels were the necessary information before it jumped into the bigger concepts.
I'm further in the game than you are (at least based on the video), and there's been a few moments that left me genuinely awestruck once I realized how something worked. This game has an impressive amount of logic and thought put into it
13:05 his laughter is so majestic, like one from a king
yoo, sick! i remember seeing the first video on this, excited to see that it's finally out
This game is phenomenal and I actually can’t wait for more. Honestly, this seems well worth the wait
I’ve already beaten a good portion of the game, and man it gets intense at some points. It’s an amazing game though from what I’ve seen
p.s.
1: put a box between the level and the outside of the level
2: the game has a feature where you can click into a box to zoom in. when you try to move, however, it pops you back out. if you do this with a recursion box, however, then you can move freely while zooming in or out infinitely.
25:01 As someone who has dabbled in CodinGame in the past, I am positive that this is what the game truly looks like when all of the visual design/feedback are removed.
It's a text based representation that could for example be used for debug outputs in the command line, but there is no way the game uses sth like this internally
@@doomse150 It certainly can be. Depending on how the level is stored, it very well could be EXACTLY how its stored internally. The simplest way to store a level in a 2D game like this is to use an array.
Like this
Level1 =
{
"$$$$$$$",
"$ # $ $",
"$ $ ",
"$b 2 $",
"$$$$$ $",
}
Then you go through your array and for every char in your string, you draw it to your screen with your specific x, y position with its designated graphic.
I'm sure it's not stored like that but its fun that it can be!
@@MythicTF2 You could use that text based representation for storing levels in a file on disk (even though I would go for a more standardized format like nested json or xml, so that I don't have to write and debug a custom parser), but use certainly wouldn't (or at least shouldn't) use it for storing the game in memory while running the game (because that would e.g. require rewriting the string for every move). Object oriented programming is a thing for a good reason.
@@doomse150That was an overly simplified comparison on my part. Of course this game would work best with object-oriented programming, there has to be an internal level editor somewhere! It is just that seeing this level relates to me on a spiritual level somehow.
You fools... Obviously this game is made in MSPaint, how else would he have those pictures on the screen? Have you ever seen pictures in the middle of a code before, geniuses?
Smh...

Second and third were the same code, great video tyler this game is such a cool concept glad you are back on it!
For anyone who's late : they're all gone :(
@@applmango yeah oof
I saw all but the second but I wasn't up at midnight to claim them
Can’t see the first one. Can someone help?
@@Zyra-Not-The-LOL-One it's rlly small at the bottom edge of the editor's note
I'm already extremely deep into the levels. The mechanics become very complex later on. Very exciting!
I'm amazed at how quickly I go from complete understanding to total confusion watching you play this
Darn, found one of the codes on accident, but I’m too lazy to use it lol.
Aside from that, I’ve seen a demo of this game and it’s way cooler then I expected. I just finished the vid, game is trippy and awesome. These are some cool mechanics in the game, might check it out myself. Def want to see some more episodes on this game!
I finished the video and moved on already but had to come back because I just thought of something
I think the reason you can’t push stuff into levels when you’re in space/void, is because you wouldn’t have anything to push that box or level against. There’s a visual square but that’s just to keep things neat. Just imagine if the boundary didn’t exist, you would just push the boxes for ever and not ouch them into each other
Nice theory, but I think you'll find some levels that contradict it.
As me who watched the Game Jam video making this one. I feel so cool to see the full version and Tyler playing it!!!
I'm so excited to see this! It's been difficult for me as I prefer the puzzle games on your channel, but lately it has been anything but, so I am glad to see the return:):)
I played a game similar to this on Scratch, it was named “Paraboxical” and instead of going inside boxes to enter new sections, the box is the level you are already in. So if you go into the top of the box, you will appear at the top of the level. If you pushed the box out of the level, you would get a “parabox” and would have to reset
Heck yeah, remembered watching the demo and loving it. Can't wait to see what else this game has to offer.
I have strayed away from this game for so long because I thought it was a puzzle game not for me. But thanks to humble bundle, I was able to grab some very notable puzzle games for a huge discount ,and this one was one of em. I am hooked to this game. It's very unique and the learning curve is very forgiving
Finally, this game seems really cool
im so used to zooms in tyler videos that i keep thinking the inceptive zooms are edits
Man, whatever game you play, as long as it gets you goin', I'm into it.
I love the way you portray the expereinced gamer playing completely new games that are outside your understanding of "cliches" and "clasics"
Pog! I've been eagerly waiting alongside you for this game, and I think I'll play it alongside you as well... Exited for a new puzzle series!
Woah, looks so cool! Can’t wait to have more of it after the demo last 2 years! And it’s been that long?! Time flies
I'm so glad this is finally here, can't wait to see more
I remember seeing you do the demo and was very excited for it, and, to be honest, it far exceeded my expectations
meester tweester
This game gives me existential dread. I love it. And better yet because of how convoluted the puzzles are paired with the fact that I'm not the one solving them I'll likely forget their solutions by the time I get around to buying the game.
Lets goo mate finally this game is so cool
It wasn't a a long wait for me it seems since I found about it like a month ago but still
Im glad that this is finally a series
That text based section was really cool! I was wondering how complicated the game was to actually program... And the ascii level really illustrated its not actually as complicated as you'd expect. Very cool!
Tyler, I just want to say I love your videos. I've been watching for awhile now and all I can say is you are a phenomenal creator and I only look forward to seeing your successes!
17:45 Preach that shit. im dumber than a box of rocks and i feel smart getting as far as i have so far. good ass game design 101 on display
Seeing the huge version of the player outside the level pushing it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen in any game
I've been looking forward to this game dropping! On my birthday as well, nice
this seems like a awsome game. i bet this will have all kinds of mind bending puzzles. Keep up the good work man
i am so hyped to see more of this series! :D
This looks super cool would love to see you continue playing
I can't even fathom how clever you have to be, to have come up with the idea for this game. Damn I wish I was that clever. This makes me think there's no end to new puzzle game ideas, it's just harder to come up with something new and clever.
ive been waiting since your demo play of it, and im loving it
I'm so excited for this series!
very excited to watch this series
Ah! I've also been waiting for this game, and it came out on my birthday?!
This is the best birthday gift I've ever received today!
super excited for this series!
:0
i saw a demo of this a while ago but i completely forgot about it-
kudos for tyler bringing us interesting games to the table every time
I just rewatched the first episode yesterday, the timing is crazy
This is amazing.
Just got the game, can confirm, it is mindboggling.
I actually forgot this game was coming out until Tyler's video. Thanks!
Very hyped to get to watch this
Excited for this one
The text based level is probably how he encodes all the levels, they are probably read from that format and then rendered as 2D objects.
Well, probably not entirely, considering the colors, but something like that.
@@zvxcvxcz the colors are taken from a palette image
the text-based level at the end really teases the existence of a level editor bc it showcases that texts are all we need to describe the geometry of a level design
Hyped to see you 100% the game
this game is out!! already have waited for a long time
10:00 oh no that shape
Yoooo lets gooo. I remember watching the demo video and I really wanted to see more of the problems they would come up with
Bro I couldn't even imagine myself being able to do half of these puzzles! Espeacially not at the pace that you're doing them!
ASCII level at the end of that session was great!
what a sick game, can't wait
YES! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR IT TO COME OUT! I hope I will have enough money to buy it!
He is-amazing doing these puzzles so quickly its like all these months of puzzel gaming have made him a giga gamer
Your brain works so much faster than mine on these puzzles. By the time I've even figured out what makes the level difficult, you're already halfway through completing your solution to it.
Cool game!
This just scratches all the right itches
Baba is you and this is the sickest puzzle for me😳
Both are Really shocking
WOOO WEVE BEEN WAITING FOR A YEAR NOW
Love this game!!
Awesome
Omg I forgot about this game I’m so excited
Haha, I'm here. Yes lets go finally caught another vid within 30 minutes. Great vids my guy, love the streams and vids. You should try Rogue Tower sometime, the soundtrack is nuts.
Hey aliensrock I have a small game recommendation, it's called mindustry which is a mix between a tower defense game and a factory management game where your factory directly fuels your towers ammo and your weapon types themselves
Love this
Wow, he solved that text based one at the end so fast! I still was barely processing what was happening in the video
I spent 2 and a half hours on it after it was out yesterday. This game is awesome. I stopped playing to sleep after spending 10 minutes having my jaw dropped by the "Player" world.
Just saw this on another channel and knew I had to come over here for a full play through
omg wait a game from a year ago that was a fun watch yeah I can't wait for more of this 9:34 exactly lol
When you said “I bet there are some things that will, later on”, I misheard that as “like your aunt”
Remember that video coming out, still a fan
Hell yeah, let’s go!
They should have made it so in the parabox you can push things into the infinity box and have it work as a normal room until you push the shell back in. Preventing soft locks.
I did not expect to see a rogue eater egg of all things
very cool game
Very good
so cool
holy dang this game is really as good as you were saying it was
mind boggled
OHHHHH this is Patricks parabox i remember when you did the demo for this
Oh wow, this was neat :0
I really enjoyed those codes, even though I didn't manage to nab any. I wonder what that does to your viewer interaction, maybe more comments. Will say, that first code was of incredibly poor quality from a video perspective
The colors change every time you get to another world
the second i saw this game release my brain was like "the time has come" and immediately jump onto youtube to check for this video
YO IT'S THIS GAME
i like how he does not realize your color changes every level
