Tip, pour the dye into the container first… then use the water that you rinsed the bottle with and add it to the dye then add the boiling water. You won’t have to mix the lumps

I was going to hand dye my bundles that I was making into a wig but, I got scared. So I searched to see if I could dye an actual wig without hand dying it and your video was the first one to pop up. Tried this after watching this video. I used about 6-8 cups of water and 1 box of hair color in a glass bowl. Dipped wig and let sit for 25 minutes per color directions. I put a ton of oil on the roots of the 4x4 front section of my lace wig. I did not submerge that section in the dye water. For that section I ran the dye water over that part of the hair with my hands so that the dye got on the strands only. It worked really well and my lace wasn't dyed.

Danielle! How do I begin to thank you? My Natural hair is super straight Indian black hair. I had purchased a human hair topper to add volume that was off black and it is supposed to be darker than natural black. Even then this topper is brown on my jet black hair and especially outdoors you can see the mismatch like brown and black! I followed your steps to the tee and now the topper matches my hair! Thank you thank you! They really need to have a "Indian Black" as a colour option on these hair toppers and wigs.

I had no idea this was a thing until I ran across your channel some months back. I tried this method and it always comes out so beautifully ❤🫶🏽 I’m a jet black girl as well, I don’t want to see no brown.
Also I submerge my whole wig , even the lace and it never dyes it , in fact it makes the lace blend better.

I am the same way I love black hair on me. I don’t like brown hair on me at all and my natural hair is brown. I’m dying my hair tomorrow but dying it blue black… so you said use freeze spray for the inside of the lace and the top so it doesn’t dye.. is that right?
Just add a bit of hot water to the dye after mixing and letting it sit.. won’t be so chunky coming out. You’re putting it in water either way.

With this method it’s best to use a semi permanent hair color that comes in a bottle like Adore, Kiss etc not box dye. 💕

I recently bought some bundles & turned them into hair extensions but i have black hair & they're dark brown. I used one box of hair dye with about 6 cups of water ,was looking ready & black , washed them and did not change one bit of color !! 😭 Pleaseeeeeee i knew i should've used two . Any other methods ? This is my first time experimenting with hair
I did this and the hair came out sooo bomb! The only thing is I used boiling hot water and I believe that’s why my lace got tinted 😩 I put 2 layers of got2b hairspray but I think the boiling hot water was too hot and melted the hairspray away. But the hair came out beautiful

Hey Danielle, plz respond back! I’m dying and bleaching the knots today and your videos are going to help me a lot. This will be my first time working with a wig btw and I’m 17 so I’m kinda scared... but quick question can I bleach the knots and dye the hair the same day?
Hey girl! And yes! U can dye and bleach the same day. But before you bleach the knots make sure the hair is dry! All of the hair doesn’t have to be dry but atleast just the hair close to the root of the lace. And make sure you put the got2b on the lace when dying and dont let the lace soak in the water, u just wanna dip it for a couple seconds and pull the lace out cause if not it’ll stain 😭😭😭 but good luck girl im sure you’ll do a great job!

Can you bleach the knots immediately after? Or should I wait until the hair is dry and then bleach the knots after dying it?
I just wait untill the knots of the lace is dry the whole wig doesn’t have to be dry though just the knots, hopefully that makes sense ❤️
I have a kinky curly headband wig...I may try this method. I'm not a fan of the mousy brown...just scared to change the curl pattern...but maybe dipping it will prevent that...🤔
Hmm I don’t think the curl will mess up. I haven’t used this method with kinky curly but I have done curly and the curl pattern stayed the exact same 💖

No not at all, the spray washes right out with some shampoo

The developer activates the hair dye, they both come in the box ❤️

You can but I definitely recommend using it to prevent it from dying your lace

I’m new to wigs and I hope you can answer my question - I was wondering if this exact dying method would work on a 613 blonde wig to get it to a certain brown color by a L’Oréal box dye? I desperately need a wig that matches my real boxed dyed hair. I purchase my first ever human hair black wig thinking I can get it to lighten with the same dye I used on my real hair but the color wouldn’t adhere to the wig and I don’t have any experience with bleaching or developer. I’m planning to buy a 613 blonde wig and hoping I can dye it to match the color of my real hair with the same box dye and would like to know if it’s possible to do. Thank you so much! ❤️

Hey I tried this it worked great but the lace was stained badly! Is there anything you suggest for lace staining
Try doin more layers of the freeze spray before you Start the dye process
Try apple cider ginger and baking soda and hot hot water stick the lace in it and it should work
How do you get the gots to be glued off the wig after dying?
It comes off really easily with just shampoo 💗
