It's so good. Sometimes I'll put 1 tsp of organic coffee, and 1 tsp of your mix. Ohh so good. Than a keto creamer vanilla. 1 1/2 cup almond milk, 11 drops monk fruit, dash hamallian salt, and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract. Ohh so good...

I got my migraine disorder under control by following a gluten free diet. It took several months for the migraines to stop. On the rare occasion that I get a migraine it is much easier to manage it with medication. It has been like a miracle for me. Currently I am on a low carb high fat diet that is gluten free and I have no aches and pains (less inflamation).

Thank you for this video! I've been really struggling with the autoimmune stuff lately, and crave a hot drink, but won't touch anything with caffeine in it. I've wondered about chicory, carob and had heard that dandelions are very nutritious, so I have to check out this whole diet and this drink in particular. I crave hot drinks, but have to be careful with teas and absolutely no coffee. So I'm going to look into this. You have such a sweet (lil rambunctious, which is good!) spirit about you, it's a joy to see. Keep smiling!!!

Early on I was drinking black coffee, then I switched to decaf, making sure it was from a company that does the Swiss water process so there are no chemicals in it, and now I'm only drinking chicory root coffee.

learning about autoimmune problems and mold was a huge help for me... I have a salt lamp in each room and a safe ionizer that takes care of mold and bacteria etc..I get the super-duper furnace filters that take the little grunges out of the air..I'm off the high dose prednosone.. BTW using a french press avoids coffee filters that filter too much good stuff out (coffee filters are bleached if you use the white ones, that adds harmful chemicals to the mix)..we are fearfully and wonderfully made and given the chance our body works itself together for good

Don't like to use the plastic coffee makers. Glad you are using the AIP paleo diet. I, too have an autoimmune disorder and use mostly whole foods when I cook and make meals. I have gotten off all of my meds except a rescue inhaler for infrequent asthma attacks. I hope this plan helps you. Take care.

I love roast chickory coffee. Healthy, too. No removal of minerals in the body, like with coffee that dehydrates. In Europe cafés provide a glass of water with every cup of coffee for hydration. But it's the minerals that need replacing. If you have autoimmune, caffeine is a no, no. Everyone needs, esp arthritis and auto's, Amla fruit powder for vitamin c - that doesn't affect the bowel, vit d, and zinc. Plus unfortified, inactive nutritional yeast flakes. Thank you for the recipe. I love your smile!

Elizabeth, I'm thrilled that you are doing this! I feel certain that you will be feeling and BEING better. I pray that you achieve HUGE success in healing your body!! Sugars are the true enemy of good health. Stevia is the only sweetener that I will use. Change is challenging sometimes.
I began Dr. Eric Berg's healthy Keto and intermittent fasting program a year ago. In less than 3 months, my Doc said I was no longer a diabetic and many of the symptoms of Parkinson's, MS and Epstein Barr were gone. My memory started to come back a little at a time and my brain function improved to where I could teach myself how to count, spell and know what words meant again! I'm still working on it. The Neurologists and Docs at the VA have no clue why all of those diseases and major brain issues came on all at once. I have to say that my self-imposed 22 hour daily fasts did wonders! I only eat IF I'm hungry, often skip eating, so ended up doing a four day fast. Now THAT produced fast healing!
For four years, I completely depended on God for literally everything! He prompted people, some I didn't even know, to help me financially for the 1st year. I finally applied for disability on Dec 17, 2015.. It was granted Jan 18, 2016 and I received a check Feb 10, 2016. God is still performing miracles! I believe that God led me to Dr. Berg's YT channel. I pray that my brain improves enough that I will be able to earn a living and get off of disability! I'm so very grateful for God's love, protection and provision! I've been mightily blessed through it all! God is good...ALL the time...no matter what!

Elizabeth , first I have to tell you that ---Elizabeth is my grandaughter's middle name and for what ever reason I have always called her that. Next month she will be 23.. She lives several towns away from me and works full time so I only see her a couple times of the year.. She is so sweet and I love her so much.. Now second. I ordered those ingreds. for the same reason that you have and they came a few days ago. So I am going into the kitchen to make me some of the mix and even though it is early afternoon I will have me a cup. Really Enjoy you and Bill so much. My favorite video that the two of you have done is the Christmas video where you both play instruments and sing.. I love that so much.. The best to you both always. Oh and P.S. My husband and I will be married in just a few days for fifty years..Almost our whole lives..

I just stumbled upon your channel doing a search on chicory on google and I had to subscribe. You two are so authentic! I have been trying new things to change my diet due to being diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. So far so good but coffee is one of is my downfalls. I can drink it with just a sweetener but I rather use all the fillers that is bad for you. That’s when I did a search for alternatives to coffee and found chicory. I will try this to see if I can phase out coffee all together. Thanks!

Good morning Elizabeth- I have been eating the Paleo diet and have felt better than I have in years! As a 67 year old grandmother of 3 beautiful grandkids, I now have more energy to keep up with them, I have also lost about 30 pounds. My knees no longer hurt so I can get on the floor and play! I know your will find it a good thing! I have also incorporated the Whole30 diet which is very much along the same lines of eating. You can find all kinds of delicious and healthy recipes from Whole30 on fb.

Haven't checked recently, but Vitacost (online) has in the past carried one pound packs of each of these ingredients (Frontier brand) for very reasonable prices ... good for stocking up!

I'm an herbalist and I love using chicory and/or roasted dandelion root myself! I buy large(ish) bags of chicory from Amazon and I've purchased dandelion root in bulk, too (not roasted, but you can probably find that on Amazon, too....Also, it can be foraged fairly easily--I mean, who doesn't have too much dandelion in the garden?! ;) ). They are great for reducing liver congestion and helping clear toxins that cause things like psoriasis, eczema, etc. When I mix a formula for anyone with possible liver congestion, it always contains either chicory or dandelion root. You'll often hear herbs such as dandelion (root, leaf, or flower) called "blood purifiers"--which really means that they work to clear the liver---the liver cleanses the blood. Best wishes on your diet and health! You look great! If you ever have an herb question--shoot me a message! God bless!
