Have purchased the HS which I am expecting delivery in the next 7 days in Aus and wanted to find more about all the features available from this model. Was lured to the HS above the other brands due to all the features you get as standard and was blown away from this video confirming my decision. Excellent video, unfortunately it didn't show how to get the puddle lights to come on when opening the front doors. They used to work but not anymore. The lights are in the door mirrors to shine down.
When you showed the lights you said you would later talk about how to put on the smart main beam but you forgot. Would you please tell me how to do this as it’s the only reason I watched the video 😢
Thanks for the comment. High beam is in the screen setting. Vehicle - comfort & convenience - lights. Some give extra option like auto high beam and some don’t. Just leave the lights on auto and it will switch on the high beam assist automatically when it is completely dark

I had a MG 2022 HS excite 1.5T fwd for only 10months before Accident total loss. no fault. but Ive gone with HS AWD 2.0T this time, 2023. i thought i would ask ur experience in the AWD version that has a wet clutch instead of a dry clutch. When i start drive forward it seems to surge, such as pulling away at an intersection ot whilst in traffic. i never had this with the FWD. its very noticeable but dealer claims thats because its a wet clutch. whats your drving experience comparing the two?

Good question. That's actually different from region to region. I don't have a firm answer. When you get the car, go to settings and see if you can find units.
I have an mg hs 2.0 L trophy 2021 model but theres something wrong with the driving assistance features, mine doesn't have lane assist and auto breaking system they're all missing in the car settings

I am having Mghs. From some time I am facing an issue. When I am in drive mode and driving on any of little uphill Road. When u want to get some more power by pressing the accelerator. A sound of Tik tik come from like somewhere below race pedal from engine compartment and then the vehicle gets the power. Can some body please guide me what I should go for checkup. Do you need to directly order in China and wait for a couple of weeks or months for the boat to arrive in the specific port here in NZ or AU? And then wait for another weeks for the clearance or quarantine in the port and then transport to dealership? Sorry too much questions.
@@CJ-db9xs there are boats arriving every month or some times twice in a month. There is not much wait time for this spec. There are plenty of stocks around or coming in. We don't need to specifically order them really

Hey there, unfortunately, I don't think that is possible. The screen unit itself came with navigation from manufaturer. We cannot do add on as far as I know.

Yeah, it is normal with my experience as well. AWD has 6 DCT and FWD has 7 DCT. Different systems.

Check with local specification to see if they were available for your car. Otherwise go to the dealer for repair

As far as I know, there was only one update to this vehicle since it was released in NZ. It runs just as fast as the previous one. No major changes.

Hi there, if you are in NZ, the wait time isn't too long. Roughly a couple of weeks to 2 months depending on your colour preference. :D

Push and hold the home button. you can switch off the music.

Does the HS or ZST have tilt and telescopic steering wheel?
The HS has both. ZST only has tilt.
With fuel type does it have to be N95 or normal unleaded fuel can be used?
It has to be premium 95 or above as it is turbocharged engine.
Sport mode would eat a lot of fuel ?
It will eat a bit more.
Is the Essence the same version as the HS Exclusive in the Uk?
Hi there, I believe they are very closely spec'd but the NZ version follows the Australian version. You can still find some differences.

This is second generation. There is another new variant with different look alongside this HS in China. It is not called the new generation yet.

I belive the new software update has solved the screen going back to Cruise screen. Check with your dealer for an update.
