Great review and super useful tips! We will work on getting some more detailed assembly vids out :)
Glad it was helpful!
but you still didn't make a detailed assembly video for this bike....
I also bought the T8, an awesome value. I’ve got an emtb on my radar, but the prices have been a barrier. Not that I couldn’t afford it if it became a priority, but $5k-$12k in US dollars is truly ridiculous. I figured Polygon would get around to releasing an emtb and the modest price for the T7e is very welcome. Thanks for the report on Shimano fixing that clank in their new motors.
Thanks for tip on the wiring. Did you just plug in the battery charger and plug it into the bike and it charged? Mine has arrived and the charging unit doesn’t light up and neither does the bike . . .
Hmm OK. The plug that goes into the motor is a little bit tight but apart from that, should charge up fine. Make sure the switch is turned off. It won't charge if the switch is on. If all that fails, try taking the battery out and charging it direct off the bike.
Thanks, I took the battery out and it charged that way. Give it another go in the bike for next charge. Cheers
Hi , did your charging problem work out ok?I am considering the TE7 to buy ,but your comments were a worry about the charger failing. Are you happy with the polygon ,now? thanks.Martin@@andrewbarrett111
Hi mate, I'm thinking of getting the T7E... How's the long term review of the bike. Still holding up?
Hey there, yeah I'm still happy with it. Got about 700 kms on it, mainly single track. Still on the fence about the fork, can't seem to tweak it right, will prob fit my spare Fox 34 and see how that goes, but otherwise, runs like a dream.
Hi ,did you solve your concerns about the front fork on your Polygon?Martin@@ThommoManThing
Hi Martin, I think it was OK in the end. I just kept tweaking pressures etc. But I actually sold the bike last month, so yeah.@@martinbramston2244
thanks for the reply, I would be curious as to what you are going to replace it with? Another ebike? Martin@@ThommoManThing
I won't be getting another e-bike. I'm an XC rider and enjoy the rush of completing a climb. I missed that with the e-bike, so can't see me getting another one until I physically need to. @@martinbramston2244
Whats the weight of your bike?
Around 24kg I think. I've done a few mods and haven't checked yet.
the clutch on your derailer is off, fyi
Thanks. Yeah I think I noticed on day 2 :)
