    Very cool! Now I just need to figure out how to make the individual particle shapes look cooler :)

    Excellent tutorial. Even without using Reshift it's perfect. Thanks

    Love this one! I tried to figure this out years ago before the field force existed :) So glad this is possible now without plugins! One thing Im curious about is why you opted for the Destructor force when you can just set the Lifetime in the emitters, including variation.. I guess there's always many ways to do things in C4d.

    • @lukasthorup
      @lukasthorup  Před rokem +2

      It works in 2 different ways, the lifetime setting is locked by the time from birth to death of the particle. The destructor doesn't care about particles lifetime, it just deletes particles randomly until the threshold is met.

    There is a limit to making multiple fire crackers.
    An error occurs while rendering.
    That's why I did an alembic bake, but the rendering itself doesn't work.
    Any solution?

    The effect is very cool, but for me somehow the force field spline thind doesn't work with the latest version of C4D. I mean the while dragging clone to the force field it does not shoe the spline mode only point and mograph because of which the streaks are not forming and thus the effect. any solution please suggest. Thanks in advance

      Responding your answer you can use connect to group all the splines, and then your will be able to drag the clone as spline mode, but I think that over all, this will note help you. In the maxon channel search for noseman lessons about new particle system, and adapt your workflow !

    My particles aren't rendering, been sitting for 30 min but can't figure out what I did different from you haha. The only difference seems to be that my scene is very small so I made the platonic, the spline, and the force field small, could that be it? I checked the render birthrate and that is the same as the viewport birthrate so it's not that. Using Redshift

  • @andershattne

    Anyone else experiencing problems with the Field Force?
    First my particles would get very affected by the turbulence where the spline would end, so I made the spline longer, and then the force field just lost its shit.
    If I turn it on after a few frames of simulation particles will follow spline , and after some time start travel backwards, otherwise they will just flicker back and forth before aligning to the spline.
    Some times turning the force field off will make the particles follow the spline. I'm quite confused.

      Cinema has its weird bugs sometimes, maybe try to keyframe it is off at frame 1 and one at frame 2

    • @lukasthorup
      @lukasthorup  Před rokem

      You can also make a spherical field that subtracts the field force. And put it in the center with a small radius and a long falloff

      It's due to a bug in the latest version on Cinema. Version 2023.2.2 works

      For those having trouble with this, you can click on the spline field added into the Field Force and underneath will be a tab labelled Direction. Click invert direction checkbox.

      Just cutted out a part there and no explanation why the particles follow the spline
