you see man , just because he use raiden you have to work 2 or 3 time more of him i just dislike this type of no sense privilège , shao have poor option without meter and vs zoner without montaro also is easy to drop combo with shao the character is just inconsistent , yes you rush big damage vs bad player but vs good player this will not work , shao is only a 1 trick pony character , good video content like this prove my point 👍 is sad because shao is one of the most fun mk1 character

@@jamesonsaleta41with sonya specifically, you can set it up mid combo and continue it. you go 1 2 df1 and you call sonya right after 2 hits and theyre juggled long enough for you to recover from df1 and you can still combo after. massive damage and off shao's punishing string

@@jamesonsaleta41 not that i can think of, no. but, even tho it feels like motaro and lao were made for shao, sonya is objectively better imo. all you really get from them is the ability to combo from the axe overhead, which scales badly. with sonya you can extend the no axe combos łon enough for the axe to come back and get the combo rolling once again. she opens up the guaranteed df1 buff during a combo and sets you up perfectly for the no axe 50/50, as super presented. you still got full combo 50/50's, once you ditch the axe. is motaro and his few slow ass projectiles and the axe overhead combo worth trading for all that? dunno

Not gonna lie that Jax & Raiden combo is annoying. They need to nerf that, I feel like everybody just plays this duo to get easy wins since they only need to do it twice and your done
Only thing I’d nerf is raidens lightning grab and make it an airborne attack only. Or make him way more punishable on block cuz damn near all his strings are safe.
@@jhevgainz2307 I agree bro, his strings are so long and they just push you back so it’s way harder to punish. You have to do far attacks to cover the space that was created after his strings. His damage is crazy with that 50% with Jax, usually as combos go on damage gets nerfed but his is high. What are your thoughts on his multiple lighting balls when he powers them up? Don’t you think it should cost meter?
@@nathanlucero4605characters are averaging 40-45% damage anyways don’t really think it’s a raiden issue to do 50% with kameo and 2 bars of meter, raidens also not the best at opening people up, I think MK needs to tone down the damage in general for pretty much everyone tho

Surprising no one can see that the system that NetherRealm has implemented has gotten much worse leading to this dumpster fire called Mortal Kombat 1.. When they go out of the way to extend the combo potential to this extreme that ONLY ONE touch can lead to your demise is a terrible thing. You're basically saying to the casual player that there isn't any reason to play this game. Anytime those people try to play Kombat League they're going to get their asses handed to them because of players like Super, ketchup & Mustard, who are pushing the NetherRealm agenda of MORE ENDLESS COMBOS is better. Why are these creators pushing it? Because they get early access to the game and its features and gives their channel the potential for a much bigger audience.
Also, The Kameo used to create a reset to extend the combo system even further is about as cheap as it gets. Thus, in conclusion, this game should get an entire overall. Will it? Absolutely not, this is what content creators want, and this is the kind of spectacle NetherRealm wants for its tournaments. Flashy big bright screens showing off this disposable garbage.
These conclusions are fact based and not merely passing observations. I do understand that the MK Fanboys will not agree with this overview because of obvious reasons. But if you look at the game from a distance you will see that what I'm pointing out is just obvious. Learn to be unbiased even if it's about a franchise you care about.

Raiden is such a cheap character to play. I feel that if you play Raiden like that its because you are aware you suck at the game. Because the only shit they do is going after that combo, never have i seen a Raiden playing with actual skill. That guy as soon as it they where same health close to death, started spamming proyectiles and they do nothing but that. If they wwhere to use a different character they would get destroyed.
