I threw around 2000 charges with my Gen 2 supertricler to try and get it setup with 1 powder (N560). Best I got is 7 straight charges without a overthrow. And about a 70% success rate. Some take 5 seconds some take 120. And that is with a 0.08 grain tolerance. Setup on the supertricler is basically load development on your powder dispenser... And the AI can't do it. You need to tinker constantly. I sold it and moved back to my v3. Just added the IP tricker.
I have both. Basically the answer is no, not better than the super trickler. But pretty much required for the auto trickler. The vibratory trickler in the supertrickler is really good. Hopefully adam will learn from the missteps in the auto trickler v4 and improve the small trickler with the v5. Rex delivered an impressive product for a v1 super trickler design.
Have both. I find the V3+IP combination the one I use the most. The Supertrickler is a great system once tuned after AI (bulk, fine, & pulse settings).
The supertrickler sucks. After 2 months of trying to get it to work consistently I sold mine and went back to my AT V4 and now have a V3 again but with IP trickler.
I’ve been hearing several people complain about the SuperTrickler as of late. Seems like a great idea, just lots of software issues. They have a FB support page where I see several negative remarks on them there.
