  • RTÉ News reports on the death of RTÉ and BBC Scotland broadcaster and author Nick Sheridan. Originally from Wexford, Sheridan first made his name as a presenter on the RTÉ 2 current affairs programme News2Day, before moving to Glasgow in 2017 and joining BBC Scotland. Sheridan was only 32 years old when he passed away after collapsing from a brain aneurysm while out running.

    Ah no that’s an awful pity, didn’t know the guy but he was excellent at his job on TV , great energy and seemed a very genuine fella, 🙏 🙏.

      No he didn't. He died while exercising. Brain aneurysm apparently.
