- As many of you know, I had uploaded a cover of this song a few months back, but after watching it over, I felt like the quality of the video did not give this absolute masterpiece of a drum track the justice it deserves. I wanted to redo it with all of my new upgraded gear, in order to really capture the masterful fills, and polyrhythms Danny Carey displays in this song. This video is all one take, which was hard to achieve given the length and difficulty of this song. One of the hardest things about it is the amount of fills thrown in during all of the guitar solos. Definitely was not easy memorizing all of them.

Here we go! My favorite Tool song. Absolute masterpiece
Justin, you've done it again. In terms of playing, you're performing effortlessly, which probably belies the hours of training you may have spent on this. The sounds of the drums (especially of the snare and the toms) are crisp; no lingering, unnecessary notes. I hope you get the same recognition as johnkew, who has (in my mind) the best CZcams drum covers of Tool, both in terms of technique and production quality. Keep it up, my dude.

Underrated video! This is an extreme difficulty drumming song. You cant even play it right if you have a tiny electric drum set like I do lol.
