"recording is a skill not a talent" THIS. so many people shy away from taking on new artistic hobbies because they think they're not talented enough for it but mostly it's all about how much practice and dedication you're willing to show. Whether it be singing, playing instruments or even drawing or painting, all you gotta do is just start from somewhere and then keep practicing to perfect your skills
Haha. Yeah. Ed Sheeran sounds terrible when he was younger. He said he wasn't born with talent in singing. When I heard the his recording when he was a teen, I believed him coz he really sounded aweful. It took him a while to get a good control of his voice. Unless you're already in your 30s, you can still practice a get a good singing voice.
Some people are born with Singing talent, but for every other profession or even singing sometimes you need massive practice sessions and like a year or two to perfect it!
Exactly! When I usually show my art to my friends, they are like “wow your so talented! I wish i can draw as good as u!” But the thing is, it takes SKILL to accomplish your goal. I wasn’t born an artist. It took me YEARS to be good at art. I am still learning new things about art to this day! Just practice and work hard then you can accomplish your goals!

One of the main reasons why I love watching Noah is the fact that he started out with basic equipment. I also record my vocals using my iPhone and it sounds amazing once mixed and mastered properly.

What effects do you usually use to make your voice sound good? I usually use BandLab as my main app to edit my voice. Thank you
Step 1- Have Good Voice
All I need is open space where I can sing without being around my fam

Don't record reverb 😭 As a general rule, record in the middle of a carpeted room with little reverb. Stay away from walls, but DO NOT record reverb if you're recording a standard vocal that will be imported into a DAW. That's what plugins are for. Your vocal loses malleability and presence if you record in echoey environment. But you do you. Sounds are fun to play with in different environments :)
Bs, vst reverb are nothing like real reverb, if it sounds better it is better
