Went to a Hinder concert last night didn’t realize they had a new vocalist 😭 I wanted to cry and barf because it was terrible
My younger brother committed suicide last weekend by overdosing on something. He was found with headphones on, presumably listening to something. This is his youtube account. He made a playlist containing 6 songs that was edited the day he passed. This is one of the 6 songs. With the method he used, he was dead after about 30 minutes, probably unconscious around 12 minutes. I like to think that it was peaceful for him with his music on. I love you Myles, I'll miss you everyday for the rest of my life.

This song actually came on an mp3 player I treasured in my teens. The song really grew on me as I listened to it and now years later I remembered this song and found it. Nostalgia is a word that can't even begin to describe the emotions and feelings this song evokes in me. And even though it reminds me of some of the darkest times in my life when I was on the verge of suicide (yes I had a really rough childhood) I don't feel any pain from those dark times instead I feel released and happy. (I am in an infinitely better place in life now friends, self confidence, independence, and very healthy lifestyle)

A similar thing happened to me. Just try to force yourself not to think about her and eventually you'll stop thinking about her. I still get little flashes of sadness every once in a while but trust me, that plus having someone to talk to if you're ever feeling particularly sad eventually gets you over it
