Anyone thats a good wrestler offer any tips when someone over reacts on the fakes like that so much? Do they leave themselves open to cutting around the back.
Sure it's possible if you're lazy about your sprawl without creating distance, but you always want to circle away from the other wrestler as you stand back up into your stance. Wrestlers that reattack try to find angles, your job is to keep them from finding that angle by circling away from the lead leg when you stand back up and keeping your hands out in front. Hide your hips. Foot tag is a fun game to play after a good practice. Helps you get and keep your hips away.

Why do they say “offer a point?”
There's an official on the side of the mat who has the final say on scoring. The mat offical only offers points, the other official holds up a paddle with the points officially scored on it. If they don't agree they can white paddle it, meaning no points
I know I cant be the only person that feels like every single iowa wrestler is boring to watch. Like the whole hawkeye style of wrestling is not a good look for entertainment or growing the sport. Outside of other wrestlers that know what we are watching i don't think many peole would look at this and think its entertaining
